The property is quaint but old and the AC did not work. Buffet bread was excellent room was bigger than expected. Staff was wonderful.

Small hotel with great location. Staff were all personable, courteous and helpful. Hotel is dated but rooms and main areas are all very clean. We enjoyed our visit!

We like this hotel because we have easy access to restaurants and a lot businesses in the area . Staff was great, helpful and friendly. If we be Ale to comeback to Lisbon, we want this hotel. We want to recommend this place to our friends and relatives. We also have a good time staying in this hotel.

Our room did not have AC. I called down straight away and was told that it would be turned on. A couple of hours later I called back down as it was still quite warm. I was told it would be addressed. 2 minutes later, I got a call back that the AC was not working for our room and that we could change rooms. We were already in bed and set up so that was not a reasonable option. The next morning I was told that there was no AC on the 5th floor as they are transitioning the system from heat and that the person I spoke with should have known that. I asked why we were put on that floor if the AC wasn’t working. The person at the desk had no answer. The supervisor was not in. I honestly believe that when you book through a third party, you are not treated with the same respect or given the same level of service. Twice now I’ve not been happy with rooms booked through Expedia. I was shocked as generally Holiday Inn is quite good. I asked for my money back and was told I would have to email the supervisor once back in Canada.

Emplacement au top! nous somme venu du 8 au 10 mars, l'hôtel est facile d'accès, il est super sympa et proche de tout donc top pour une visite sur un weekend :) L'accueil a été plus qu'agréable! le personnel vraiment cool! lors de notre arrivés le réceptionniste a vu que c'était l'anniversaire de ma compagne et nous a même offert une meilleur chambre! franchement au top! Petit déjeuné de bonne qualités et avec du choix :)

I would definitely stay here again. My only issue was my room was cold. I had a room overlooking Rossio plaza and the cold air would come through the windows. I had the thermostat set as high as it would go but was still cold. Other than that everything was great. Staff are very helpful and the location can’t be beat. Breakfast was good and the wifi worked well.

Loved this place and would like to come back! We stayed here on a long lay-over in Lisbon. The location was great for exploring some of the major Lisbon sights on foot. The room was HUGE compared to other rooms we've had in Europe. Our room overlooked the Plaza and the Christmas market. Despite the street below our room was quiet. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.

The hotel manager, Joao, provided us with invaluable information on how to make the most of our short stay. All the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in the middle of downtown Lisbon, minutes away from the main tourist attractions and transport links. We look forward to returning in spring.

Très bon emplacement, près du métro donc très pratique. Par contre très mal isolé (on entend la conversation de la chambre d’à côté… ce qui peut être très gênant) Petit déjeuner moyen , manque un toasteur ainsi que de la vraie viennoiserie Et enfin pour ceux qui veulent prendre un bain , désolée mais il manque le bouchon de la baignoire … donc impossible … peut être pour une économie d’eau

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very nice, and very fluent in English. We had a balcony with a beautiful view. We could see the Sao Jorge Castle on the hill. Nighttime was especially beautiful. There are a lot of little cafes on the square, which we enjoyed. Getting around is pretty easy, and if you need transportation, Uber is quick and public transportation is readily available. That was a big plus for us. It's an older hotel, but nice and clean. As long as it's clean we like an older place because of the feel of being in an old city. It didn't bother us, but if you're sensitive to noise that could be an issue because the square can get quite noisy. In fact, we enjoyed overlooking our balcony to see what it was all about. The only other con is that the breakfast isn't great, but it was good enough to get you started for the day and it was included in the stay. If you want to go out for breakfast the cafes serve breakfast/brunch. That said, we really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it.

Great location, smack dab in center of Rossio Sq close to everything we wanted to see, close to hop on/hop off busses, funicular, train station trams,riverfront. Charming hotel,great breakfast,helpful staff.

Amazingly located hotel - we had room overlooking the square and castle . Lots of shops and restaurants around. Easy to get everywhere mostly by foot. The hotel needs a bit of upgrade as its bit out of date but this way has its own charm. WiFi was good👍 We enjoyed our stay in Lisbon x

hôtel très bien situé en plein centre ville mais très bruyant car il n’est pas du tout isolé. on entend le bruit de la rue jour comme nuit ,essentiellement de la circulation , du moins dans les chambres donnant sur la place Pedro4 . les baies n’étant pas isolées le froid entre dans la chambre qui par ailleurs est très correcte ( sauf éclairage déficient ) , tout comme la salle de bain

Great location but noisy
A very convenient location, easy walking to metros and restaurants and the river. The room however, was a bit noisy as it was on the back side of the hotel. I could not get the air-conditioning to work but used the large free standing fan in the room.

the property could be much more impressing if it was better maintain in the way of furniture, etc. I did not like that we had to go up a flight of stairs with luggage before reaching the elevator.

The ac was barely adequate. The really small shower stall was not good. Some of the furniture and drawers in closet need repair.
