"Authentic Sri Lankan hotel set in a beautiful location by the lake. Rooms were very spacious and immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful, asking if you needed anything at various points of our stay. Restaurant food was buffet style. Lots of choice, fresh and delicious. Ideal base for exploring the local area. Would highly recommend."

"Only one major issue. The first night of my stay the hotel moved housekeeping staff into the room above me late at night. The banging and the noise was ridiculous and when I went to the front desk at around 11:00 p.m. there was nobody there, no night staff. Hotel shouldn't be putting staff in the same quarters as paying customers. "

"We don’t understand why there are some medium reviews about this place; it is such a beautiful eco resort, lovely surroundings, great staff, you have a view of Sigiriya Rock from the pool, there are friendly monkeys and other sorts of beautiful animals around. "Really enjoyed our short 2 days in Sigiriya - absolutely lovely hotel and amazing grounds. We really enjoyed the breakfast, all the staff were very nice and helpful. "Excellent stay in a lovely setting with swimming pool and nature pond. Clean and comfortable room with AC and WiFi. Lovely local breakfast provided each morning.
