My sister and I had a great stay at the hotel! My only comment is that there should be some lotion provided in the rooms as a complimentary toiletry for after the beach. Other than that it was great!

The hotel has a very contemporary and modern design. The service was freindly and helpful. The beach is close by, however large portions are reserved by other resorts and there is no shade to sit in. The toilet seat was dirty on arrival, although they cleaned it upon request, this should not happen. There was no compensation or explaination for this. There was a large variety for breakfast but it was all flavourless. For the 5 days of our stay the breakfast options were the same.

Our room is 218 which is right below the gyms. We could hear very loud noise when people are working out with either weight or dumbbell. We complained to the hotel and recommended that they should move the gyms to first level

Overall is ok, not fantastic but ok. The toiletries were plastic packed and the shampoos were sticked on the wall that doesn't allow take away, somewhat cheapskate. Good thing is they have balcony, so if you washed clothes can hang. They have kid's club, good for those travelling with children. They are slow in their service, do not expect them to provide anything to you fast.

Simply put, the Aloft Langkawi has the best of both worlds. Far away enough to relax, unwind and enjoy. Whilst still close enough to walk to all restaurants and shopping. There is nothing not to love about this hotel. ALL staff were wonderful, happy and loved to have fun whilst still being attentive to all our needs. A special hello to Fuad the restaurant manager who just went above and beyond. What an assett to the hotel. The restaurant was bright and airy. Seating inside and out if you wish. The choices and quality of the food whether buffet breakfast or a la carte we exceptional. The choices varied daily and the food was always hot and fresh. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and bright. The super king bed was plush and wonderfully comfortable.The bathroom was just beautiful and soaps/lotions etc were excellent quality. The swimming pool was what dreams are made of. Infinity pool overlooking the beach and palm trees, spa pools and even sun beds in the pool itself. Simply paradise. We can not rate this hotel and its staff highly enough and are already planning another trip. Thank you to all of the staff and Adrian Chua for making us feel so welcome and at home. See you all again in the new year

Stayed at Aloft for one night. Must have been unlucky. Two things happened, for which one of them is not the fault of the Hotel. Arrived a bit before 3 PM to check in. We were a group of 3 people on business trip. One of us got the room quickly. Then us two had to wait. The second person in our group got the room shortly before 3 PM. I had to wait almost another 30 minutes before I could check in the room. While waiting you wait in the lobby which is outdoors, meaning the heat is quite present. We got a welcome drink however. Then the real nightmare happened in the night. Drunk Aussies not far from my room where having a massive party. Singing songs, screaming, behaving as usual. The walls are thin, you hear everything. Doors are slamming loudly and it shocks you. No soft close system. I called reception 2x. The lady at reception went there even 3 times and tried her best. They offered me to relocate to another room on another floor. But I was already showered and in my sleeping gear so did not want to change. After 3.30 AM they were quiet and I could sleep for some hours. Breakfast did not check as I was trying to catch up on sleep before moving on. Will not fully blame the hotel here. But do check on soundproofing the walls and definitely do something with the smashing doors. Big thanks to the night duty officer at the front desk to offer help even if it was difficult.

Firstly, upon arrival, I encountered an unexpected delay in the check-in process and was only given a room at 3pm. After a long and tiring journey, the last thing one desires is a prolonged wait at the reception desk. Unfortunately, this inconvenience set a negative tone for the rest of my stay. However, what truly exacerbated my dissatisfaction was the persistent disturbance caused by the loud noises emanating from the hotel gym. It seemed that the sound insulation was inadequate, as the constant clanging of weights and people running on the treadmill permeated through the walls, making it incredibly difficult to find peace and rest within my room. I had hoped for a relaxing and peaceful environment during my stay, but this unfortunate issue proved to be a significant hindrance. One plus point was that the hotel staff agreed to give us a late check out at 1pm. As a loyal customer of Marriott group, I had expected a more pleasant and satisfactory experience. Unfortunately, this stay has left me questioning whether I would consider choosing Aloft for my future accommodations.

My favorite part about this overpriced "4" star luxury hotel is that you kind of have to call to get the room cleaned at the time you need and then they don't come and clean...instead late at night they come and apologize for not cleaning and offer you water and towels after you request some clean towels. Especially after multiple very hot days and being with a baby who uses diapers and to top it all of it just happened for the second time in the row. Even tho we mentioned via call to please come today as you forgot yesterday. Just arrived back after being away half a day and again nothing. So out of 5 days not getting a cleaning service for 3 days in a luxury hotel. Lol Can't believe this place is a Marriott hotel. Awful service. Not gonna even mention other mishaps here just truly disappointed with the place. Quick tip: don't book here, many better options with much better location this here is a over hyped place. Not sure why ratings overall are so good as that was the reason I booked and now feeling like got scammed. Can't wait to checkout tomorrow.

Our family has been to Langkawi multiple times and this is so far the best hotel we have stayed in. Staffs were all very alert, friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely with so many choices. We will definitely stay in this hotel again on our next trip to Langkawi. Do keep up the good work.
