The property is run down and needs some upgrades. Breakfast was ok. Not enough info on their shuttle service to/from pier. I am sure there are better hotel choices fir the price.

We must admit we were quite disappointed in our stay. The hotel architecture is beautiful and breathtaking & staff were super accommodating and friendly. However we did not sleep for 2 full nights ranging from a number of concerns. In Room A17 there were 2 cockroaches in the shower and a lizard in the planter above the bed. We called twice to front desk and they were quick to send someone down. The second attempt at 4 AM they were finally able to kill and remove the cockroaches. The guy they sent into our room admitted it could be from the holes in the walls/concrete-which made it difficult to sleep knowing that there could be more. The lizard making noises throughout the night didn’t help either. The water in room A17 does not work properly and comes out FAR too hot or too cold with no in between. We were not able to shower properly. The mattresses -as stated in other reviews- are hard and not comfy. The third night we requested a second room which was much better, the water worked and there were no bugs. However the A/C did not work. On the remote it showed 15 but the room temperature stayed at 27 degrees throughout the night. This was the third night we didn’t sleep well at all. After paying $16,000 THB, we feel like this stay was not worth the money, unfortunately. We are not the type of people to ever complain and understand the climate/location of the property being prone to lots of insects is hard to prevent. Hope this helps while booking!

Property was really unique and allows for some very beautiful views. The different pools were a nice surprise though the upper location has seen better days. The room was spacious and featured nice but expected amenities. We had a gorgeous view of the gulf. The restaurant was delicious and fairly priced. Biggest complaint was with the bed. Our room had an extremely hard and uncomfortable bed. Neither myself nor my boyfriend had a great night of sleep because of it. Additionally certain parts of the resort felt a little unkempt. There weren’t a lot of other guests so it had an empty/deserted feel which I found a bit unsettling, though might be ideal for others. Definitely a quieter resort on an island known for its parties.

Superficially Beautiful, but lacks Comfort/Service
This was the most disappointing accommodation I stayed at in Thailand. Superficially the hotel grounds look spectacular, but many of the hotel rooms are located directly beneath the reception and common area and I could constantly hear stomping around of people above my room at all hours of the day. I could also hear a baby crying in the next door room almost as if it was in the same room as me. On my second day I called reception to request a room change since I had no peace or comfort in this type of room. The woman told me she would call me back after checking availability, but she never did. I waited in the room for nearly two hours for a response. The service from the restaurant wasn't any better. The menu was very basic (pizzas, sandwiches, and a few Thai options) but I didn't want to go out on my second night so I ordered in. The woman who delivered showed up coughing all over my tray of food and the food tasted very badly. Then the next day my stomach became sick and I had food poisoning for the next 3-4 days. I couldn't believe the amount I paid for this hotel in relation to the quality received. Big mistake. Hotel was also much further from the Haad Rin town than I had thought, turning out to be a 15-20min walk.

We were well aware of the number of steps involved in staying here so that was no surprise. We were disappointed with the 2 lower pools by the beach, one appeared stagnant with no apparent incoming water and the lower one was empty and contained rubbish and debris. Good service and food in the restaurant. Complimentary transfers to the ferry appreciated.

Magnificient architacture but nothing more
We stayed there for 3 nights. The whole hotel including the rooms is designed like a Thai temple. Staying there is quite an experience. We can recomend staying there for at least one night. However, the functionality of the design is not good. And they havn't quite finished building the place. The access to the beach is not convinient at all. The whole place is built on the side of the mountain. What will give you a great view from the room. But a steep way to breakfast or to the sea. The pool is cold and there is no pool house for towels etc. There is no beach/pool bar and the way to the resturant is long and steep. The pool is not that clean either. Breakfast - it's just not good! And we tried 4 different dishes. It seems that they use very cheap products. The staff is nice, but not that professional. When taking into considiration it's not a cheap hotel, the resturant should be much much better. Also for these price, buffet is more suitable. For now it's like eating in bad resturant in Haad Rin. The room was cleaned every day. The towels and sheets were also changed. What was very nice. They should just remeber to renew the soap, shampo etc. The staff is super nice and helpfull. They supply transfer from the pier - Which is also super nice. The hotel is not secluded. But it's location is not ideal for finding a place to eat/drink nearby. It's like 20 minutes walk from the main Haad Rin beach. Besides that, there is nothing to do near

Close to the town. Beautiful hotel.
Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the town center. Great location for Full Moon Party. You can always grab a truck (taxi) on the way to and from for about 100baht. Pool could have been cleaner but the hotel itself is beautiful. The restaurant serves inexpensive food and can deliver to your room if you’re too hungover after a party. Totally recommend this place
