Older hotel between a busy highway and train tracks. So very noisy. But the owner was helpful and the breakfast was great.

Posizione strategica, sia per chi arriva con mezzi propri che per chi arriva con mezzi pubblici. Camere pulite e gradevoli anche se arredate in maniera sobria. Il gestore è stato gentilissimo, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni del caso per trascorrere al meglio il nostro soggiorno.

Delusione totale
Sinceramente,viaggio spesso con hotels.com Non mi era mai capitata un'esperienza simile. Mancanza di grucce nell'armadio, camera trascurata,bagno sporco e fatiscente,mancanza di prese elettriche( solo una) per spegnere la luce di sera bisogna alzarsi dal letto,nessun interruttore accanto al letto,mancanza di mini frigo in camera,balcone con tavolino e sedie sporchissimi, l'hotel e'posizionato :da un lato la strada principale molto trafficata anche di notte,dall'altra il treno ....molto rumorosa,soggiorno da dimenticare!

Paras alhaisen hintatason hotelli, jossa olen yöpynyt. Kaikki toimi ja henkilökunta oli super avuliasta. Huone oli juuri sitä, mitä edulliselta majoitukselta odotin. Aamupala oli yksinkertainen, mutta sain aina vatsani täyteen. Ainoa pieni miinus oli, että vieressä sijaitsevasta junaraiteista lähti meteliä junien ohittaessa. Tätä hotellia voin todellakin suositella!

hotel ubicato in una zona strategica per muoversi nei dintorni dove a poco distanza si trova l 'uscita svincolo A 18 TAORMINA GIARDINI NAXSOS ! Poco distante dal mare di Giardini, a 15 minuti da Taormina alta! Posso dire bene dell accoglienza fatta dal sig. Pietro premuroso ed attento a tutto quello che noi abbiamo chiesto! Buona accoglienza e gentilezza , fanno si di poter esprimere un parere sicuramente positivo per hotel Eliseo, ripeto in particolar modo x il propietario sig. Pietro.

Centrally located for great tours.
I only originally booked for one night, but the gentleman who owns the hotel was so very helpful that I stayed for three nights. He served as an excellent source of information for tours to Mount Etna and Taormina. He was very accommodating and always very helpful.

Clean hotel with great service at reasonable price
Clean room, super friendly and helpful people in reception, breakfast very good (bread, croissant, jam, yoghurt, fruit juice, coffee), very nice view on the volcano from the balconies, rather old fashioned interior and no elevator but very reasonable price for what you get (also compared to other offers nearby). Would definitely book there again when looking for budget accommodation.

Proprietario gentilissimo e super disponibile poi sa consigliare bene come girare è quasi una guida turistica. Albergo in posizione ottima per visitare taormina o godersi una giornata al mare.

Posizione ottima a prezzi imbattibili!
Posizione davvero strategica sia per recarsi sul lungomare dei giardini ,sia per prendere il bus per taormina. Il personale è molto cordiale , dà ottimi consigli ed è a disposizione per qualsiasi esigenza. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Great stay at Eliseo
Everything was great and according to the pictures. The hotel is small, but clean and nice. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk, who gave us all the necessary tips for our stay. Rooms are big and have balconies with a small table and two chair where you can sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Highly recommended!

Non rispecchia gli standard di un Hotel,si potrebbe paragonare ad una "BETTOLA".Struttura vecchia ,completamente da ristrutturare,per non parlare della pulizia,lenzuola e asciugamani sporchi,pieno di gatti che salgono sui tavoli ,colazione scadente,non consiglerei mai questo pseudo albergo.

Хороший отель в своей категории 2*! Отель семейного управления, хозяин Пьетро - отличный чел-к, поможет, подскажет и старается уделить внимание каждому постояльцу. Конечно, т.к. это все же 2*, то ждать шикарного размещения глупо, все просто и демократично. В номерах чисто, но нет холодильника (если кому он нужен), нет сейфа (можно сдать вещи на хранение на ресепшен), нет фена, нет душевой кабины (просто поддон с занавеской). Есть кондиционер, мыло, шампунь, полотенца, даже W-Fi (бесплатный!) ловится в номере (на ресепшен бывало лучше ловило). На завтрак: йогурт, круасан в пакете, масло, джемы, сухарики, сок, чай или кофе. До пляжа Реканати пешком минут 10, до Джардини Наксос минут 15, рядом с отелем есть небольшие магазинчики. Так что, если кому нужно дешево и прилично, то можно смело выбирать отель ELISEO 2*. Из минусов, кот. я нашла: рядом проходит железная дорога и иногда слышно, как проносится поезд, если же окна выходят на другую сторону (т.е. дорогу, по кот. ездят машины, автобусы), то тем, кто размещается в таких номерах, немного больше повезло; ну и еще - море не прямо рядом с отелем (но опять же, пешком тоже не так далеко идти).

Ottima posizione
La posizione dell'Hotel è perfetta; a poche centinaia di metri dal lungomare e dal centro. La linea ferroviaria che ci passa accanto non disurba affatto; cosa importantissima è il parcheggio (non tutti a Giardini hanno il parcheggio). L'hotel è un 2 stelle, quindi ci si deve aspettare quello che un due stelle offre, ma il proprietario è gentilissimo e sopratutto disponibilissimo. La colazione è abbondante. Un giusto compromesso per chi non vuole spendere tanto, girare per Naxos e lasciare traquillamente la macchina parcheggiata in albergo.

Hotel Eliseo er et slidt hotel, men hotellets ejer er ekstrem hjælpsom. Hotellet ligger lidt langt fra bydelen, og vejen til bydelen er meget trafikeret og uden fortorv.

Siamo stati altre volte ospiti di questo simpatico hotel, gestito bene, tanto da sembrare di essere in famiglia. Unico appunto e' la mancanza di un piccolo frigorifero in camera,che sarebbe assai importante per chi, come chi scrive, ha necessita' di conservare medicinali che non sopportano temperature elevate. Comunque l'hotel e' di mio gradimento.

OK as a base for a short stay, close to beach
We stopped in this hotel for just one night as we needed somewhere enroute to the airport. It was fine for a short stay. the room was clean, but possibly the shower cubicle need replacing as they are starting to leak and look old - but it all worked fine. The manager was really helpful and friendly. Gave us a map and told us about a local market on in the town. The style was more travellodge than characterful hotel - but that was fine for our requirements as it was cheap and in walking distance of the beach and plenty of good restaurants. It is situated on a busy road - but that meant it was easy to get to. There was noise from the road but it got quieter as the night went on. Good off road parking.

Friendly family run hotel in ok condition.
Family runned small hotel - cosy atmosphare and friendly owner - very helpful, inspite a little difficulty understanding english. Rooms neutral in standard but in good size and with great balcony and our room had a view to Etna and the sea! Very noisy pipes though in the bathroom, which was a little irritating. Breakfast not impressive but the coffee was good. About a 15 min walk to the beach and the same for a big supermarket and 5 min to a lot of restaurants. Easy access to busses to Taormina or the airport. Not impressive in standard but friendly atmosphare and ok alternative to the more expensive alternatives closer to the beach - missed a pool since it was hot summer weather. But can reccommend the hotel to others that doesn´t expect luxury.

First of all, if you have options, choose another hotel. We stayed here for three nights during our Italy holiday by car and this hotel is unfortunately the absolute low during our 3,5 weeks. It's just next to a railway and a major road, so be prepared for a noisy environment. Even though all rooms have balconies, you really have to raise your voice ... The room is large enough for sure, and the AC works well, but the bathroom is small and disgusting. The water pressure is next to nothing, and at times, so is the hot water. The breakfast is also a big disappointment, and we even chose to drive somewhere else to get a decent breakfast. The parking is free, as is the "so called" internet. We ended up using another persons unencrypted WLAN on the balcony. The hotel WLAN works in the reception area. Location is about 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants, and the hotel is easy to find as it's just next to a main SS-road. I've just got to say this: We saw on Google Maps that this hotel is just next to a main road and a railway and still chose it, perhaps hoping for better noise isolation. In retrospect, don't count on two star hotels to have this. Again, please look for options before booking this. If the breakfast was great, internet was actually working, the bathroom was clean and there was water pressure and the noise was gone inside, maybe, maybe... maybe. Go somewhere else, please.
