Good location and easy check in and check out. The third floor doesnt have a bathroom so you have to go down to the lower levels anytime you need to do something. Facilites are fine but a lot of moisquitoes

Helpful happy staff. Great spot with heaps of charm in a central location. It's an older building but well updated and kept. Good aircon and wifi. Ask for a room away from Chulia st though, its really loud.

The property is located right at the heart of the city and in front of Kapitan Keling Mosque, one of the many landmarks and touristic attractions of Georgetown. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the property is very nice and has this very nice style. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and we had a very nice view from the mosque (only issue was being awakened by it at 5 AM every morning, but they had earplugs at the reception to help with that).

깔끔한 게스트하우스
아주 깔끔한 게스트하우스. 화장실 샤워실도 깔끔하고 따뜻한 물도 잘 나옵니다. 다만 침대마다 커튼이 없어서 오픈되어 있다는 것과 도로 바로 앞에 있어 밤에 소음이 약간 있다는 단점은 있네요

Could be better
The room smelled musty so I couldn’t sleep all night long. I was on the top bunk and it was dark so I fell when I tried to come down. The other occupants took the aircon remote control so it got really hot and humid at night. There were many bugs in the room and the washroom area.

Nice place
The first night I was in an 8 bed mixed dorm and it was very noisy. There is a mosque nearby and I was woken up at 5:30am and 6:30am from it. I was also able it hear noise form people walking outside of the room. The next two nights, I was in a 4 bed female dorm and it was so much better. It was very quite.

Good in George!
Great location. Heart of Georgetown. Easy to walk around or less than 2 mins to a bus stop in either direction. Street art, food, bars are all right there. Friendly staff and enough space to get some quiet time in one of several common areas. Has a TV area but I never watched anything so can’t say much on that. Was there for 7 nights and slept great every night. The prayers can be loud, but I don’t know if anywhere in the area is quiet, so buy some earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

okay with short stay
First of all, the staffs are superb nice. Thank you so much. I stayed in dorm and there was no curtain. There is a window in the room but it cannot be opened, and the light came from the hallway through the window was bothering me when I sleep.

Everthing is good except for the towel. Not so clean, eventhough i have requested for a second towel. Just remember to bring your own towel. Other than that, I have a pleasant stay

Bien situado en Georgetown
El Hostal esta bien situado en el centro de Georgetown y con acceso cómodo a la mayoría de las atracciones. Esta en una de las calles principales por lo que se accede cómodo a todo. El WiFi en las habitaciones funcionaba bastante mal. Y el suelo a ser de madera hacia que fuera bastante ruidoso. En la cama te dan una especia de manta para taparte que no sabes si esta muy limpia o no. Tienes un locker en la habitación con llave que tal dan. El baño estaba bien y aunque aparentemente no había muchas duchas nunca tuve problemas. Las dichas un poco pequeñas e incomodas Eso sí al ser el techo tipo invernadero por la mañana se formaba demasiado calor

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful the whole time we were there. We decided to book an extra night and they were accommodating with letting us check in early to the other room so we could leave our stuff there. The beds weren’t too comfortable but the biggest issue was that the walls and floors are super thin so you can hear everything. Rooms and bathrooms were fine and clean

Great Location in the heart of George Town, easy to go to the Bus Terminal and explore all about George Town. Just walk out and then your adventure start. Lovely condition and cleanliness is great. Simplest but can't ask for more. All guest here should be pleased with the bathroom and toilet, very clean. The price is reasonable for all traveler, especially the backpacker :)

徒歩で観光可能
チェックイン14時前の午前中に 荷物だけ預けに行ったら 部屋が空いてたので すぐにチェックインさせてくれました 外はすごく暑かったので 観光前に荷物を置いて一休みできて その後の街歩きが楽になりました

No entiendo cómo este lugar tiene buenas calificaciones. Es uno de los peores lugares en los que he estado. El lugar es espantoso desde la entrada. El sillón amarillo de la entrada que ponen en las fotos está más mugroso que el trapeador de mi casa. La zona de baños y regaderas huele a caño y hay moho verdoso en el piso. Hay una persona que todo el día está haciendo limpieza, pero en general el lugar está descuidado y con las paredes sucias y con humedad. Lo peor de todo es el ruido de un bar abajo del hostal. El ruido es terrible como si tuvieras la fiesta en tu habitación y no puedes dormir. Luego como los pisos son de madera, no es una losa, se escucha bastante fuerte cuando alguien está en la habitación de arriba. Solamente deja de haber ruido hasta las 3:30 o 4:00 am. Dos chicos que estaban en mi habitación se mudaron de hostal por lo molestos que estaban. Yo no pude cancelar mi estancia ni cambiar habitación y solamente me ofrecieron tapones para los oidos. En George Town hay otras opciones mucho mejores. Lo único positivo es el excelente trato de uno de los chicos, el que está por la mañana, que me explicaba a dónde ir, cómo llegar, tips, etc, pero en definitiva este lugar no se lo recomiendo a nadie.
Así el sillón de la entrada. Da asco sentarse ahí.

Penang home base
Look, it's not a high-end hotel, and you get what you pay for. But it's a fine place from which to explore Penang, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a simple affair (fresh fruit, strong coffee, tea, bread for toast, kaya, fruit jam, and butter). Wash up your dishes when you're done. It's fine, but instead of filling up on this, consider checking out the tasty and cheap street food, nearby. My double room with ensuite bath smelled a bit musty and had only a window facing the inside common bathroom area, which was quite noisy (hearing people showering and brushing their teeth), but the A/C and wifi worked. The ensuite bath consisted of an in-room sink, and then the toilet and shower were in a small separate room with sliding door - the type common in Asia where the toilet gets wet when you shower. But the hot water was reliable and consistent. Two things bothered me: 1) The "private" bath had recently been used, prior to my evening check-in. The toilet was wet, and there were wet footprints on the bath mat. Not what I had expected to find upon arrival. 2) There was some type of plumbing issue, causing the toilet to gurgle/back up when others were showering or flushed elsewhere in the building. I found it stressful, but the toilet did NOT actually ever overflow during my stay. Earplugs are a must.

Best Accommodations with Ammenties!
This is the best accommodations in Penang, Malaysia! The extra space, ammenities, big wash rooms, considerate staff, and comfortable beds with a central location to restaurants/shops/historical sites make for an excellent stay!

信頼出来るスタッフ
古い歴史のありそうな建物だが、最近改装したのか 小綺麗で清潔。観光名所も近くフェリーからも歩けるし立地も良い。 枕元にはライトと電源もあって個人ロッカーもあり使い勝手も良い。 なによりもスタッフが親切。 空港への移動とかリーズナブルな方法でサポートしてくれました。

Very very good hostel
因我一人只住一晚，早上就到Lipe,所以我選這間hostel,到碼頭大約十至十五分鐘路程，員工十分親切，床非常舒服，茶，咖啡都是免費供應，如你想認識各地朋友與之交流，hostel是一個很好的選擇，附近很多食市，晚上可以盡享檳城美食，與印度街只一分鐘，值錢非常非常便宜，本人由旅館至五星級酒店也會住，以此價錢得到質素我給五星
