I have been a regular guest at this hotel for several years, visiting a few times annually. My experiences have always been positive, which is why my recent stay was particularly disappointing.
After a long day, I returned to my room to find it had not been cleaned. Confused, I approached the front desk for clarification. I was informed that the hotel had changed its policy and now only cleaned rooms every few days. Guests were required to reserve room cleaning services the night before. Accepting this new policy, I requested my room to be cleaned the following day.
However, my expectations were not met. Returning from a taxing day at work, I was dismayed to find my room in the same uncleaned state. Towels were unchanged, garbage bins full, and no replenishment of essential items like shampoos. It was disheartening to see that my room hadn't been attended to at all during my three-day stay.
For someone traveling for business, hotel cleanliness is paramount, and having to worry about cleaning my room is the last thing I need. While I have been fond of this hotel, the lack of basic housekeeping services has significantly marred my experience. I hope the hotel reconsiders its policies to better accommodate the needs of frequent travelers like myself.
