"I stayed in four properties during this past trip and this was the best of them. It felt like I was staying in a private guest house with all the amenities of a fancy hotel. The staff were helpful and attentive. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. And, I so appreciated the nearby kitchen where I could access tea or warm water to nurse my sore throat. "We loved our stay! We stayed in the 1 bedroom and it was great. Kitchen had everything needed. The living room has a pullout sofa with a comfortable bed. Bathroom has a nice big rainfall shower. Alessio was great and promptly met us on arrival to give us a tour of the property. The area is in the heart of the city and perfect location one block from the Ponte Vecchio. Highly recommend. "

"Recently renovated and neat as a pin, this small hotel is a gem. You cant ask for a better location - 5 mins walk to the Duomo and Uffizi and under 20 mins to the Boboli Gardens. All questions were quickly answered and everyone from the owner, management, cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend."

"Nicest couple who hosted and welcomed me. It is an old building and dated but it was a clean and spacious room. The bed however was extremely uncomfortable and the air conditioning didn’t work the best. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot at night. "

"We were very skeptical at first, since it is an old building and the entrance/elevator remains as if time had stopped in 1936. BUT once you open the first door to where the rooms are, we come back to our time again. Rooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated, and perfect location, baring in mind that you are close to a very transitted area, and thus, noises (not unbearable) are possible, as well as the church bells. "The building is over 600 years old but you wouldn’t know it judging by the rooms. There is also a very nice terrace for sun tanning we used that was very private. The view of the Duomo from the room can’t be beat either."

Staff speaks limited English but are very friendly and helpful. Just keep an eye on the slightly convoluted check-in procedures (don't ignore your emails the day of arrival). "

"Nice room to stay in, however there were no option to change sheets. The shower door was broken and had faulty pressure. The area is very close to the centre. However very noisy at night. Modern decorations just wish there was an option for room service and better cleanliness "

"Very helpful staff, lovely room. When we arrived (self check-in), our key to the room didn't work. We texted the hotel staff who very quickly came over to the building and agreed the key / lock was broken. Fortunately, there was one other room available so they moved us into the available room for one night whilst they got the door key / lock fixed. A tricky situation handled very well by the staff. We'd happily stay again!"
