"Very good price for a beach front hostel. It does get more expensive during full moon week and you are encouraged to stay for 5 days. Everything was great other than the staff. The one guy (reminds me of Jaffar from Aladdin) was extremely lazy and stubborn. It is annoying at first but it is fine as long as you use his laziness to your advantage (ie. Do things you usually aren't aloud to do because he does not care)"

"..the room was not comfortable, although it looked esthetically pleasing...the shower did not have a proper drain, instead it flowed on the opposite side into rocks which I am sure never get cleaned...the floor of the bath is small black stones which are uncomfortable on the feet..and don't look clean (even if they are clean)..the lighting was rather complicated..at firstl the television didn't work, they even had another brand of remote, so they had to bring in another television set. "I stayed with coconutspalm resort over the New Years period and I’ve got to say it was just over average. It’s overpriced for what it is and you have to spend quite a bit of money on taxis to and from Lamai beach, so your best bet is to rent a scooter. I will say that the manager Fred is very good at his job and he did everything to sort any problems out we may of had. He even offered us a free upgrade. Also a massive shout out to the cleaning team as they are amazing..! All in all not a...

"The hotel was not what we expected for the price. It didn't has line, it was dirty, the shower was broken, the AC is very noisy. Although we payed 4 nights, we only stayed 2 nights... Avoid this place. We have been traveling through Thailand for 3 weeks paying less for far better places."
