"I had camped at the Desert Horse Inn campground on a visit to Namibia in 2005. It was an enjoyable experience. Passing through again in 2024, I was curious to see what the villas were like. Ours was clean, reasonably spacious and comfortable. Dinner was in the main building. It was a cold night and the restaurant was full of Germans. "ให้ห้องพักไม่ตรงกับที่จองไป เราจอง familly room แต่ให้ห้องธรรมดา พอบอกกับพนักงานว่าห้องที่ให้ไม่ถูกต้อง พนักงานตอบกลับมาว่าไม่มีห้องว่าง คุณก็คงต้องพักห้องธรรมดา เราถามว่าแล้วจะรับผิดชอบกับส่วนต่างของราคาอย่างไร พนักงานบอกไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้ ด้วยหน้าตาแบบไม่มีการช่วยเหลือใดๆ พอเราไม่ยอม หายไปสักพัก แล้วกลับมาบอกเราว่ามีห้องว่างให้ เป็น familly room หมายความว่า ถ้าเราไม่โวยวาย ก็จะไม่มีการรับผิดชอบใดๆ จากที่พัก รุ้สึกแย่มาก กับการบริการ"

"Die Berglandschaft ist sehr schön. Die Zelte überhitzen sich in der Sonne sehr stark. Die Terassenüberdachung ist sehr kurz. Man findet keinen Schatten. Ein Kühlschrank oder eine Minibar ist nicht vorhanden. Die Außenplätze des Restaurants haben ebenfalls keinen Schatten. Die Möglichkeiten der Aktivitäten beschränken sich auf einen Sunrise Drive oder einen Sundowner. Der vorhandene Pool ist sehr stark gechlort. Ein mehrtägiger Aufenthalt empfiehlt sich nicht."

"Both my fiancé and I love adventures and we have no problem with living under local conditions and circumstances such as in the Kgalagadi like showering with salt water, being some days without WiFi and any other connection to the outside world, etc. But what !Xaus offers is simply a rip-off! Serving greasy pork belly on Christmas Eve with a cold soup as a starter, needing to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner, having no fridge with cold drinks available and no AC in the cottages, being provided...
