I really enjoyed staying at this resort w/ my 12 year old son. We stayed here for Welcome to Rockville & I feel it was definitely an affordable option to keep us entertained in our down time & have a safe / quiet place to lay our heads down at night. We ended up booking a small cottage & the cottage was nice on the inside. It was clean w/ clean sheets & towels. It had a small kitchenette & updated bathroom with 2 tvs & plenty of plugs for our electronics. PROs: - We loved the 2 outdoor pools & private access to the beach. - We also enjoyed the home-made donuts each morning. - Close proximity / walking distance to a grocery store, iHop, gas station, mini golf & liquor store - We were able to utilize the kitchenette & cook meals to save us some money from eating out constantly. - The staff was AMAZING & super nice! - They also have a cool tiki bar on-site - We felt safe on this property & was able to explore. CONs: - the only major con I had w/ this stay & is the reason why I docked a star was the bugs. When we first walked into the cottage there were several large (dead) palmetto cockroaches on the floor the size of my thumb! I figured out they were coming in through a dry rotted hole in the bottom of the door. Maintenance helped remove them & gave us a can of bug spray to spray along the door & I got a few traps to put along the door & it took care of the problem. - It's an older resort that could use some TLC Overall - I would stay again - minus the bugs lol

The rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the pools are clean. Nicely placed right on the beach, just far enough away from the broad walk and pier. There’s a local store for your needs but the hotel does offer free donuts, juice and coffee but no dining as such. It’s clear that the damage from recent bad weather has taken its toll on the pool area, and is badly in need of repair as are some of the hotel structures. Overall a good value for money, ‘get you by’ hotel. I enjoyed my stay. Would visit again once the repairs and renovations have been carried out

We had a ground level room and it was great - clean, spacious and quiet! We enjoyed have the ocean steps away. Coffee and donuts were a nice touch each morning. I don’t typically eat donuts but these were delicious. The grounds are going through some renos which should make the property better.

We came down for Welcome to Rockville. Commute to the Speedway was easy from here. The beach was amazing. Staff was great and friendly. We only used the indoor pool and jacuzzi but both were clean and very few people. Overall place was nice and quiet and would stay again.

Old hotel with very nice renovated interior rooms, clean pool, beautiful views and all the appliances were vere clean. The breakfast could use improvement: Add a waffle maker, sausage eggs bagels and cream cheese.

I understand area still recovering from past hurricanes. Only 1 elevator working. To return from the beach, one was to use only 1 gate and you had to have your room access key to get in, it was broke. They tried fixing it a couple times during our stay to no avail. The place just needs some updates and make it more appealing. The room was comfortable, loved the kitchenette, beds, and the ability to sit on the balcony was definitely a plus. We liked the pool. Housekeeping comes to change out used towels and empty garbage daily. It's great for people on a budget and families. Across the street is a grocery store, 7-Eleven, and Ihop. They were rather convenient. Too far from the boardwalk to walk. All in all we had a pleasant stay. Not elegant, but it was fine for us.

The North Tower room we stayed in was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a separate sink and mirror area which was great! The property needs some updates but overall nice and convenient access to the beach. The only think we did not like was that people that were not staying at Perry's came up from the beach and used the pools. (One family had 6 kids) This should be monitored by requiring all to have wrist bands on like we were required to wear. The staff was friendly and very attentive to make sure our stay was ok. We would stay here again and one older man told us he has been coming here since he was 7 and he lives in Florida!

Perry's used to be a well kept family resort with it being one of the largest Hotels on A1A, however our last stay found it in disrepair,, only 1 elevator working, the breakfast area had a very rotten odor, our sink stopped up, the fan over the oven did not work, the grass was unattended and brown, the ocean wall was still knocked from last year's hurricane, and more but let's not beat a dead horse. The high point was the staff was surprisingly happy, very helpful, and polite. I have been coming here for fver 50 years was was quite disappointed. I spoke with Paulette, The Manager, and she was respectful and explained they were still recovering from last years hurricane, and delays with permitting. She apologized and was empathetic. I asked for nothing and got nothing in return. If I should ever decide to go back I will ask about the sate of repairs first, as this stay was made through Expedia. My suggestion is to call first. Good luck.

Friendly staff. Great pools and right on the beach. Cute little pool side bar, and close enough to all the action but not in the thick of it. Lots of dining options close by. Great donuts!!!

This place was super cute and very spacious. I love how there is a separate mirror spot aside from the bathroom so you can do your makeup while others are taking a shower. The kitchen and dining area were great. The views of the ocean and balcony were amazing. The floors were really dirty though. I’m guessing it’s from the salt spray but not sure. I would stay again! The staff is so nice!

We loved it here! Seen dolphins every day off our deck, actually slept on couch cushions on the deck because it was so beautiful! Watching the sun rise over the ocean is something else! We loved it here!!!

Unfortunately this property is seriously run down. Beach was nice thanks to Mother Nature, beyond that the property and grounds were terribly in disrepair and neglected. Sheets and bed were clean, however the furniture was old and outdated, cabinet hardware was missing, door lock was a chain, and it was noisy. They were mowing the lawns at 8:30 AM; and our ‘ocean view’ we requested was visible, but only if you were to look around the staircase in front of the windows. We could see a sliver of the water! Parking was terrible; and while we did find a handicap spot, it was quite a distance from the room; which necessitated walking the sidewalks which were frankly dangerous for a disabled person. Unsafe. I requested a refund as soon as the room and location viewed; however property indicated I would have to deal with Expedia in that regard. We chose to stay as we had been driving all day, and didn’t want the hassle of resolving the issues. Needless to say this was a bad location and property. Perhaps the worst I’ve experienced. Note - I am not one to write critical reviews, but this had to be addressed.

Hi Susan. Sorry to hear you were no happy with your requested accommodations. Oceanview rooms are much more economical than Oceanfront rooms and this is reflected in the location of said rooms. Our maintenance team are always ready to help our guests with any reported issues. All our guest room doors are secured with a dead bolt as well as security chain. Unfortunately, reservations made via booking agencies must be cancelled or amended by the agency.We appreciate your feedback. Thanks for staying at Perry's.

The hotel met all our needs. Perfect location with a grocery store across the street. We had an ocean view room and it was great. Very spacious. We had the bunk bed suite. Would highly recommend for families. There is still work around the area from the hurricane damage but everything is well taken care of so everyone can still enjoy the beach during the construction. Would love to go back again.

Rooms are beautiful. It is a bit of an older building but very nice. 2 outdoor pools. 1 indoor and a jacuzzi. Place was very comfotable to stay and wake up to the sunrise. Fresh donuts in the morning were nice.
