Expedia limits the character count of their reviews, so you can find my full review with images on Google. This motel paints itself as a resort, but don't be fooled, half of the amenities they claim to have don't exist.
The property is old, rundown, and extremely dirty. Parking is EXTREMELY limited - even between initial and overflow parking lots. The room followed suit being small, old, and dirty. The tile floor had a grimy feel. The lamp bases and bathroom light fixture were all rusted. One of the lampshades was stained and later we realized it also had moldy spots along the top. The air conditioning didn't work - it was set at 64ºF to quickly cool off the room, but it never cooled down at all, so we left it set at that temp the whole time. Housekeeping says it comes daily, but never showed up.
As I checked out, I told my complaints to the lady at the counter who said there wasn’t really anything they would do anyways. She said she would leave a message for the manager, but as of now, I have not been contacted by anyone.
Additionally, they're supposed to have a self-serve breakfast in their lobby, but when I went to checkout (within the breakfast hours) there wasn't anything set out.
The only redeeming part about our stay was the ocean view (that we paid extra to have), but to charge a premium cost for the pitiful quality of everything else is beyond ridiculous ($300 for 2 nights at an already discounted rate through Expedia).
