Getting too shady there. Homeless hang out nearby.
"Too many people hang out by the door smoking. Some are homeless. Today a grocery cart was blocking the walkway to the customer parking lot. Time to look for another Hotel for my next trip to Portland."

Comfortable hotel convenient to streetcar stop
"Boutique hotel near a streetcar stop. Clean room with full kitchen and den area. Extremely comfortable bed. The decor is funky but fun. Due to Portland being in the news so much, I googled “safe place to stay in Portland” and I felt safe here although they did warn us not to leave anything visible ..."
