Dear Family BL, Thank you very much for your time to write a review and feedback on your experience at the Oriental Siam Resort. We too enjoyed having you and your family with us, so happy to see children having fun looking for snails for, they play in the pool, playground and the green area at the huts, they play with the chicken (Lucky & Cassy) as if they were long-time friends, glad they like being in the nature. As for the distance to the city, indeed we are located just on the skirt of the city, which sometimes can take 15 min. or if heavy traffic, it could take 30 min. to/from the city, I'm sorry to hear it took you 1 hour to travel from the city, I am afraid that the taxi might have driven you around before taking you to our resort, which happened before. Our guests mostly made an appointment with our driver to pick them up especially at night as it is convenient and cheaper.
