The Good
The staff is warm and cordial. We had arrived early so they offered to keep our luggage with them until our room was ready. They also happily provided us with clean towels whenever we needed them. The hotel is on La Rambla which is one of the most happening places in Barcelona. There are many restaurants, shops, bars and gift shops on this street. The metro station is just a few feet away. The beaches are also close by.
The Bad
We had booked a twin room. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. The air conditioner was also not working for the entire duration of our stay. Thankfully, the weather was good so we left the balcony door open a few hours every night to keep the room cool. The hotel also does not provide an iron. If you clothes need ironing, then you have to pay the hotel to iron them for you. Our soap dispenser fell off the wall on the first day because it was poorly glued. While the staff was more than happy to fix it, this shouldn't have happened in the first place.
