"I chose this location because I had a tour departing from the port at 930A and my bus was arriving from Palermo at 845A. It was a quick 7 minute walk from the bus stop and I was able to drop my bags off and they handed me the keys. Once I came back, I was able to access my room. I was on the top floor and it was a clean room with a clean bathroom. I was able to use the washing machine as well. Doors were tricky to lock but they show you. The only thing as other reviews have said, the stairs...

"Loved the feel of Azzoli apartments, interesting design, comfortable rooms and particularly fond of the roof terrace for breakfast each day and a place to relax of an afternoon or evening as an escape from the heat at street level. "We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage. "It's located in high rise type neighbourhood ,found it easily on the GPS ,not a great area,but a good apartment, shower was very small in our room, the rest of the apartment was good,baby sized TV, had trouble locating the manager , nothing much in English , not able to work out which apartment was the manager,, I told them of this problem,when I checked in, was basically told I had not paid enough, with hotel.com reservation,the wifi was not good in our room, we had to sit in the dark stairwell...

"Great central location. Fantastic air con. They were the 2 good things. Our room had zero privacy. Shower flooded bathroom, they fixed it quickly but then didn’t replace the towels we’d used to mop up. All the hotels we’ve stayed in Sicily we’ve adored, this one was a bit disappointing. Pool is much smaller than in photos and no Sun loungers or anything like that to relax, just tables and chairs by pool"
