"The hotel is not for couples, the internet service is terrible, you would lose connection walking from your room to the lobby. The doors still used keys with room # on it. The elevators were old and slow . with a max of 5 people. Overall I stayed at the RIUs before this one was the worse. The staff for the most part was exceptional. the food was decent."

"Very nice hotel and room with instant beach access. Playa Hermosa and the whole North Pacific Coast didn't do it for me, but this hotel was a beacon. Love the room decor."

"This property has a small shop that sells necessary items similar to a Circle K or 7-11 and alcohol. It was very convenient. Outdoor restaurant with a free breakfast included from 0700-1000. The swimming pool was clean with a smaller pool for children. Nightly activities included bingo, karaoke, and pool table. The staff was super hospitable, helpful, and friendly. Coco beach was a very short walk from the hotel as were little shops to purchase souvenirs. There were delicious restaurants...

"Enjoyed pools, easy access to very nice beach. Grounds were extremely well groomed. Public areas were clean and comfortable. Food and drinks were very good. We speak very little Spanish but had no problems communicating. All staff was super friendly and helpful. One negative, my sister contracted norovirus."

"Golden palms is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is incredible - friendly, helpful and they go out of their way to make you comfortable and to keep the facilities clean. The breakfast has freshly made eggs, French toast, black beans and rice, plantains, potatoes, cereal and amazing fruit. I recommend getting an iced coffee, which is included with breakfast. "Charming hotel, very well kept and amazing helpful staff. Lovely quiet beach front nearby with a few decent dining options there. Quiet chill place to relax, mostly an adult hotel overall it seems and with some nice live entertainment on weekends. Close enough to Coco beach for more dining options and beach stuff plus a very decent grocery store. Was great as a low key home base for this trip and very easy to and from the airport."

"We loved our stay at Coco Sunset hill and literally cannot wait to go back. I would suggest arriving during business hours as it was rather challenging to locate in the dark but aside from that everything was excellent. "

"This property is right on the beach and within walking distance to the town. The beach and surrounding area is clean. You can view beautiful sunsets right at the back of the property. Cafe de Playa restaurant is in the property and has great food and service. "

"A very beautiful and secluded resort just off of the Ocotal Beach area. A short drive from Playa Coco that includes beautiful black sand beaches. The villa was spacious and had lovely views of the ocean. If you have a car, it is an ideal stop as you can access other restaurants nearby, like father rooster, and others in coco. The restaurant at the hotel was also very tasty, and the staff was very friendly."

"I was surprised this place was posted on Expedia. It has a nice pool but that is the only thing they seem to keep up. We were put in a room which looked like it was part of a house and we could hear the thumping of little feet above early in the morning as well as a rooster close by. The smoke from nearby fires didn’t help either. The man at the desk didn’t speak English and gave us a wristband which I think might have been for the pool? It was difficult for him to communicate that I prepaid for...
