"helpful staff; good location. Only real downside was the TRAFFIC noise was awful. Couldn't sleep much as room was facing the street. Curious if rooms on the backside had better noise reduction. Also, front facing room on 4th floor had a bright light shining in from the hotel itself."

"Only stayed in hotel one night, but it was clean and comfortable. Bed was great. A phone for a wake up call would have been helpful, as I was worried about waking up for my early flight. Otherwise, no complaints. Receptionist was very friendly. Close to the airport and free shuttle to the airport : )"

"The location was fantastic to the Acropolis & the subway station , so many restaurants & rooftop bar was great the view was perfect !! The room was so clean and they didn't have washcloths but that's OK I made it work. Breakfast was full of traditional Greek pastries & salad , eggs the best I've ever had crazy so tasty !! Taxi service fast & we just had a wonderful 3 days in Athens , well worth staying here ."

"The hotel had experienced a technical problem which meant that we had to be relocated to a hotel nearby for the first night of our stay. It was a little inconvenient but the Manager and her team were extremely professional and did everything they could to make up for the disruption. "

"The main advantages of the Hotel Plaka are its very central location and ease of transport to and from the airport. There are plenty of traditional tourist type Greek tavernas in the area, but they are mostly all very similar. The hotel is also very clean and the staff are excellent. The roof top restaurant and bar have an amazing outlook, but we didn’t use the restaurant as the menu choice we thought was very poor. The included breakfast was excellent.
