"The kind host attended to my needs. She privded a lovely full breakkast.Rooms are pleasant had plenty of amenities. Yes, others have mentioned the baths are small, but how much time do you really spend in the bathroom? It is about a 1/2 mile to the waterfront. There is plenty of private parking if you have a car."

The house is adorable, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Thank you for having us! And thank you for showing us where to find the cows!"

"A cute place in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the waterfront. Perfectly situated so you aren’t quite in the thick of the main traffic area but still very close. I loved the parking availability and was fortunate to not have to fight for a spot when I was there. Only downside: no refrigerator. I had to throw out some grocery items on my trip because I had nowhere to put them."

"Some resident/or residents used the toaster just after 7am Saturday morning so this was a bit distressing rushing downstairs then back upstairs to help a family member downstairs ( mobility issues) Other than the above room was clean reception lady was lovely cleaners were friendly. Thank you but perhaps a talk to residents about safety while using facilities "

"The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend. "

"As hostels go, it was fine. Plenty of space, a decent kitchen and dining area separate from a seating area. 20mins bus ride from town or £8.40 in a taxi isn’t ideal nor is the lack of a drying room. This last one would think a prerequisite given the location and clientele but apparently not."

The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. This self-contained unit includes, a kitchenette, fire stove, and parking. Its position on a quiet hillside afford visitors with a gorgeous view of mists rolling down the hills to Loch Awe.
