The owner told me there was no way that there was a leak from the ceiling -- which covered an area larger than my pillow, after a night of heavy rain. The staff did confirm there was indeed a leak. No apology from owner. Threatened to charge me for the water damage. There isn't wifi in the rooms -- you have to sit outside to get good wifi. Location is great, BUT it is NOT car accessible, and lots of motorbikes just want to drop you off at the end of the little alley.

La chambre aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement. L’eau coule du plafond de la salle de bain quand il pleut. Si non, le personnel est gentil et le petit déjeuner est servi sur le balcon ce qui est agréable. L’établissement est bien situé.

Todos em Bali sao muito educados e receptivos, excepcionalmente esse hotel nao teve 1 funcionário educado e bem humorado. O banheiro fedia pior q banhiero publico, o chuveiro ficava no meio do banheiro sem box, sem cortinas sem divisoria no chao.sem toalha de piso, um perigo para usar o banheiro depois do banho. Houve um evento religioso no hotel dormir nem pensar, muita zuada e logo cedo comecava tudo de novo. Cafe da manha 1 fatia de pao de forma 1 ovo em cima, cafe ou cha, 4 ou 5 pedacinhos de frutas. A unica coisa boa era a localizacao. Nao recomendo nem por 1 noite

Very affordable and comfortable place in Bali. Kadek, our host was very friendly and efficient. This guest home has everything you need. There is even a swimming pool to refresh your self after your long journey in Bali!

If your are ordering Grab/Taxi you have to walk to the pick up point, the hotel is located at the end of the little lane and the build of the hotel looks very traditional Balinese architecture it’s beautiful. The room inside its average there’s no mini fridge nor chair inside the room. But you get a balcony to your own outside and a table which you can have your meals outside. The location of the hotel is convenient coz many restaurants and bars and more are walkable. Walking to the Ubud only takes about 5-10 mins.

Saying House was perfect for what we were looking for - not a fancy 5 star hotel you could find anywhere but a place that felt like Bali - the vegetation all around and the beauty and simplicity and cleanliness of the place. We found great restaurants and shopping and massages all nearby and everyone was so kind.

This was a lovely, very affordable, accommodation with breakfast, in the center of Ubud but bery quiet. Lovely garden, family temple, and swimming pool. Family home environment with 3 levels of guest rooms. Near art market, Ubud Palace and Saraswati water temple.

I really enjoyed to stay at Sayong House. Very convenient to walk around Ubud. All staff are so friendly and kind. Yummy breakfast serviced on time. Kadek arranged a tour and a taxi to next distinction. She is very easy to talk to and she gave me a lot of advice where to go as well as what to do. Definitely recommend to stay here. Especially, first time to visit in Ubud. Thank you very much for a lovely stay and welcomed!

very clean room in a convenient location right in the middle of town. plenty of restaraunts in walking distance. the AC was impressively cold, and the complimentary breakfast service was great. the wifi didnt work very well at all, so we did have to walk to nearby cafes to use our phones. there was also construction happening daily during our stay which was very loud, but we werent too bothered by it. staff was friendly and helpful as well. overall this was a good value for our stay in ubud, especially since many restaraunts are very expensive there these days.

I absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful B&B. Kadex organised a fabulous white water rafting experience and transfer on with a discounted rate. All the staff are extremely hard working and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. My room was really large with good air conditioning. It’s quiet at the end of the street, with peaceful gardens, yet in easy reach of all the busy markets. Don’t hesitate to book here 😊

절대 가지마세요!! 위치 빼고는 하나도 나은게 없어요. 수영장은 관리를 안했는지 더러워서 들어갈수도 없고 조식은 방으로 배달해주지만 메뉴 세가지 중에 하나만 고를 수 있어요. 샤워기에서는 흙탕물나와서 필터 세개 바꿈. 수건을 매일 바꿔주지 않는다는게 제일 충격. 요청했는데도 안된대요. 이틀에 한번 바꿔준답디다. 발매트는 단 한번도 안바꿔줬어요!!! 내 우붓여행을 여기가 다 망침!!

We give full marks for: 1. The gardens and buildings (outside) which are in beautiful condition. The beautiful carved door to the room is amazing, as is the 4-poster Balinese bed, which was quite comfortable. The aircon worked well. 2. Breakfast is basic but is very tasty and always delivered hot. 3. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. 4. Beautifully quiet at night and the gardens are stunningly light in the evenings. Needing improvement: 1. The bathroom is very very basic and the toilet seat was loose, and the floor tiles needed re-grouting. The handbasin is in the main room and the tap was very loose and it was really hard to get hot water. 2. There are no facilities for making hot drinks, not even any glasses. 3. There are no seats in the main room. 4.There is no small bar fridge to keep drinks cold. 5. Although it IS a B&B, there is no TV. 6. The pool has broken/cracked tiles on the bottom of the shallow end, and tiles missing which means you do need to be cautious using it. Overall it is budget accomodation but with some work and a little investment in maintenance and repair could result in a stunning piece of accomodation that is very well situated in Ubud, an easy 5 minutes walk to the main centre.

Très bon hôtel. Les chambres sont simples mais propres. La salle de bain et le lavabo sont un peu abîmés mais font l’affaire. Le personnel est très sympathique et disponible en cas de besoin. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement. La piscine est un vrai plus elle est très bien entretenue. Nous recommandons cet hôtel qui est situé au cœur de Ubud

Absolutely loved it!
From the moment of my arrival I was greeted with such a friendly welcome and I loved every day after. All the staff were so sociable and personable. Always willing to assit. Perfect location in heart of ubud and set back from the main road so nice and quiet. Breakast delivered to your room at your chosen time. Lovely pool. Book tours on site. We had the most beautiful stay at Sayong House. Kadek, the owner, was so lovely and so helpful - she was available at any time to answer questions or book activities/taxi's for us at great prices, booking through the hotel seemed cheaper than booking anywhere else. The pool was gorgeous and everywhere was really clean. Breakfast was great with the BEST banana pancakes we've ever eaten. Perfect location in Ubud, right near the monkey forest and lots of lovely dining options. We felt really safe the entire time. I would definitely return to Sayong House and recommend to my friends. 部屋にもロビーにも冷蔵庫がなく、飲み物などが冷やせなくて困った。ドライヤーも貸してもらえなかった。 部屋の掃除は毎日してくれたが、4日間バスタオルは換えてもらえなかった。朝食の時間やオーダーは前日に自分から毎日お願いしないと対応してもらえず、スタッフから確認してくることはない(待っているだけだと出てこないし、当日言ってももらえない)。 歯ブラシやミネラルウォーター等もないので、本当に素泊まりだけなのバックパッカーにはいいと思う。 階段で登る建物なので、重いスーツケースがあると不便だと思う。正直どうしてこんなに評価が高いのかよく分からなかった。

Cet hôtel est vraiment très, tres bien situé! Il est en plein cœur d’Ubud, à distance de marche de plusieurs points d’interêt… et pourtant, c’est très tranquille pour dormir. La piscine est géniale après une chaude journée, la chambre était confortable et le déjeuner adéquat. Mon seul gros bémol est la qualité du wifi qui permet difficilement de faire des recherches et encore moins de communiquer!

Was very disappointed with the property. The room was very drab and felt unclean. The bed sheet was dingy and had stains so I slept on top of the comforter. The pillowcase was dingy and didn't smell fresh so I put a towel over it. The window in the bathroom has a decorative metal grill but there is no actual glass or plexiglass over the window so the bathroom was literally open to the outside elements. Also the bathroom window is at ground level and it doesn't have a curtain so literally anyone walking by can see in the bathroom!!! The toilet seat was so old and dirty, it was worse than a public bathroom. The lighting in the bedroom and bathroom is very dim. The entry doors to the room only had a basic slide lock similiar to what would be on a cabinet door so I didn't feel safe at all. I put my luggage and a chair in front of the door in order to go to sleep. There is no tv in the room, not a big deal just letting you know. The property itself is down an alleyway so coming in at night was a bit uncomfortable.

Never had Such bad experience! Nothing like the Pictures showed on Line ! Small yard - No swimmpool at All ! Poor condition of the room and bath room- the sink was clogged, no cup, no table in the room- I have to use my hands to hold water for teeth cleaning! Bathroom mirror is broken and missed on the right lower side… No sheet for blanket! You can not lock the front door well and there is No safe box!! Very simple breakfast… I wish they can charge more for basic quality if the service!

A lovely family owned guest house on a quiet alley, but easy walking to restaurants and shopping . The owner and staff are particularly helpful .

This is the best guest house I’ve stayed in while traveling and in SE Asia. It’s clean, quiet, and convenient with attentive staff.

A hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. You can’t do any better for the price. It’s run by a lovely family who are always willing to help. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay right in the heart of Ubud. It’s located down a quiet alley way but within easy walking distance to the Monkey Forest, Art Market, and shops/restaurants downtown. The staff is very friendly and your stay includes a home cooked breakfast of tomato omelette or banana pancakes served with fresh fruit and coffee/tea. You can arrange transport through the hotel or rent a motorbike from them. Nice balconies for sitting in the evenings. Overall, a great stay with a bargain price. Only complaint is that wifi is slow and sometimes in and out.

This is one of the best boutique hotels that I have ever stayed in. It’s family owned and the staff is most helpful. It’s at the end of a quiet alley off the main street. There are several nice restaurants and good shopping nearby and a MiniMart. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely place and hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. The hotel is quiet and has a serene garden and family temple. The owner and staff are very attentive and gracious. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent value. The best location in Ubud. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is immaculate, the family and staff lovely and attentive. The banana pancakes were a treat. Only downside is spotty Wi-Fi and one plug outlet in the room. I would without question stay here (and will) again!!👍👍
