"Beautiful hotel, great welcoming staff (from front house to restaurant to pool). Room was perfect - especially the view. Beds were very comfy, parking location ideal!. *Something out of the hotels control which was negative was the families / kids creating mayhem in the pool area. Inflatables and ‘dads’ jumping in was quite frankly embarrassing. After 2 minutes I left (sadly the 8pm adults only swim was around my dinner reservation). "

"Rather a waste of time booking in online as requested by email prior to stay as all info had to be completed on physical book in anyway. Very small room - should really be just a single bed. Very nice decor. Armchair should be swapped out for an upright dining chair to create a little more space. This would also be higher and perhaps allow use of the wall mirror whlist seated (the wall mirror is too high to be of any use whilst sitting at the table). "Newly tastfully decorated, staff friendly and attentive. Standard of food was on a par with pub grub, so not for foodies, also the dining room windows needed a wipe down due to dead insects. Wardrobe in room almost useless for hanging clothes full of other items . Better provision for hanging your cloths is needed, the wardrobe was small and was used to store a fridge, safe, hairdryer and ironing board. In short a potentially very nice hotel let down by attention to details."

"My stay was a fairy-tale moment. Our rooms were at the very top of this castle BnB. Beautiful building lovely grounds with a garden and walking trail. Clean ,comfortable and inviting. The manager showed us around upon arrival. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room was beautiful. Loved our too short stay."

"Lovely accommodation in a picturesque village in the Scottish Borders. Quiet, comfortable, excellent food and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble. Mattress in the room was a little shaped and could do with replacing, otherwise the stay was excellent. Thoroughly recommended for the food and service alone!"

"From the time we got there till we went home everything was perfect. Small but fully functional, clean apartment. Bed and sofa bed extremely comfortably. Would definitely go back."
