Parking available at Ridge Street Parking. Free on weekends, expensive in week. Walking Distance. Steep stairs. Single room small but adequate. Shared bathroom kept clean but very small and showers flood toilet floors. Attractive well kept building. Friendly interaction with other guests in kitchen and dining area. Good selection for included breakfast.

The lodge is great, the room itself was beautiful and the kitchen facility was well stocked, I was worried about a shared bathroom but never even had any issues with access to at all, the only suggestion I have is to have a mop in the bathroom for the tenants as the floor floods when you shower

The lock systems were very strange, very easy to get locked out your room. The showers were very small, and had no where to hang your clothes. Also no where to put your key when in the shower, a lot of staff didn't speak English, stay was quiet stressful.

Good position, poor room. OK for one night.
The room was tiny. No desk and chair to use, the bar fridge was under the table so no room for legs. Bed was okay. Pillow was very comfy. No tea/coffee making facility in room. Not enough hanging for clothes in room or shower. No bath mats or mop in shared showers so floor and feet were always wet.

Tourist couples weekend
We loved the little outdoor one bedroom studio. Everything we needed. Quiet, clean, good little kitchenette and bathroom. Right near buses that we used all the time. We probably should have checked that we needed to organise parking much earlier. Only one car spot and extra expense for parking station

Stayed for a week. Was in room 6. Room 6 is a very not private dark dungeon. window looks into neighbors apartment living room so if blinds are not closed its all on display. The single room shown is room 7. All photos are old and not accurate. Washing machine is $8 for wash and dry. NO staff onsite remote check in. Payment only on card before arrival so "pay on arrival" is not exactly true if you intended to pay with cash. Wifi was temperamental.

價錢很好。但因為廁所是在外面住的，比較不安心，很怕忘了帶鑰匙卡，飯店是沒有人的，所以絕對不能被鎖在外面。因為是單獨旅行，所以房間沒有別人，如果是一家人或多一點人是很溫馨的，可以一起煮飯。附近的302號公車幫了我很多忙。

My family (2 adults, 1 child) booked the studio at Dalziel Lodge for a few days. I thought the studio was in the house but it turned out to be a converted garage, which meant that it was very quiet. The floor slants slightly, but other than that the accomodations were clean and comfortable, with our own key card that let us in to the main house and our studio. The location is within walking distance to some GREAT cafes and restaurants in Crows Nest neighborhood, where you have your choice of Lebanese, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Aussie and more. Met some great people staying in the house as well. Fun welcoming atmosphere. I would book again.

Nice property. Great location, very affordable. However, the upstairs shared women's bathrooms are over crowded with cubicles and very little air, resulting in cleaning difficulties and odour issues that are addressed but make the room unpleasant.

The bathroom needs more cleaning. Toilet brush container filthy and shower hose needed cleaning. Also hair on floor. Yuk. Staff CA my e into room while we were sleeping without knocking.

It was quite an experience lodging here, I love the antique feel with its rich history. Great location, great staff and customer service including after hours care. I love how it's so self-managed and not required admin staff to be there. I love the option of car park and key lock with emergency key lock (I was locked out and left the swipe key in my room), what a saver!

Didn't meet any staff but everything self sufficient if you check your SMS and email carefully. Safe location and easy to take buses. It is a shared facilities, so really depend on other guests to keep to area clean.

The property itself was great. The shared dining and lounge was spacious and the bedrooms functional. The kitchen was adequate but if more than a few people are in there it's gets crowded. The bathroom facilities could be improved just by adding some shelves or more hooks so that it's easier to keep your toiletry bag and clothes dry whilst showering and changing afterwards, but it's minor. Overall, its pleasant and good value for money.

The first aid kit was empty. I was looking for a bandaid. Would have thought this should be checked on a weekly basis. OH&S The cleaner used a chemical that was way to potent in scent. It stunk the place out for 4 hours after each clean. Being unmanned isnt ideal. There was no way of contacting the management.

Best budget hotel in North Sydney - great location, handy for sights, buses & trains, great nearby cafes, easy for Menulog delivery. Quiet at night, stretched out between the crisp cotton sheets. Luxurious showers in the shared bathroom. Kitchen and sitting room remind me of my youthful hostel visits around Scotland. I was delighted to stay at this ‘home away from home’ as I moved house and had a hospital visit.

Lovely place to stay as it’s a very clean and quite relax environment , also very polite and good presented stuff, had a good time staying there. Room was quite clean and has an air-con and TV. Enjoyed meeting good people there. Definitely recommend this place :)

Exceeded expectations
Honesty did not expect much from this hotel however we were blown away my the modern feel, the cleanliness, the comfort and ease. Could not fault anything except for a few PowerPoints that didn’t work. We booked this to stay close to family and the city, will stay again.
