"Bed was comfortable, large room and bathroom, very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens extensive. No local amenities that I was aware of. Sort of place ideal if just passing through, having a reception or making use of the bar/restaurant."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. Quite steep stairs up to the rooms. Fine if you have no mobility issues. The pub is closed on a monday so food and drink unavailable. Lovely breakfast in the morning. I would stay again. "

"Warm welcome from Dilip, took me to where the room was early, as I was on business and did not know what time I would be back that night, showed me everything. Very nice guy. "I warned that I might be late on arriving. I was very moved by the care of the owners who had closed the curtains and put a light on when I arrived. The instructions to ensure the hotel is kept safe and secure is great. Owners are helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, and I recommend anyone who is considering coming."

"Staff was helpful and the room was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were fine. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the hotel, but there was an absolute terrible stench outside when we arrived, it could actually still be smelled in the room. It eventually died down but never went away"
