"A thoroughly pleasant stay at a lovely guest house. From arrival I was met by the owner who was pleasant, friendly and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed was also nice and comfy too. I undertook 'The Lap' 47 mile ultra marathon, so when I came back to the room, I really needed a nice bed and this one was lovely. It was easy to enter and leave the property with your own key etc. Upon checking out the owner made sure everything was satisfactory...

"I have stayed this weekend in room 113 - I have to say firstly what amazing staff! The bloke who cleaned my room helped me numerous times with locking myself out. "Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍"

"We stayed there for one week and enjoyed the first four days with some quiet time. However for the last two remaining days we had the misfortune of new noisy next door neighbours who made our stay a bit uncomfortable. The walk round the lake was very nice and the in-house restaurant offering reasonably priced dining options."

"We stayed for 2 nights. Needed a dog friendly hotel and this ticked all the boxes. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Waking up to half a dozen deer on the lawn was lovely. The family room was fantastic, the bathroom was very clean and looked newly renovated. The food is as all the reviews state. We enjoyed every single meal. We are already looking at booking another stay."
