Happy to Stay again
Very Clean and Friendly Hotel, Bed was very comfortable. Staff worked hard and cleaned all rooms nothing negative to say- good staff would come back again.

Pleasant stay
Friendly and helpful service. Comfortable enough room, a little loud due to the road. Perhaps a bit pricier than you would expect to pay in other locations, but I don't think there's much competition in St Austell.

No bad points, fresh quality breakfast. Adelaide is friendly & can’t help enough. Room is more like a hotel room than a B&B. Excellent value for money.

Strange but perfectly adequate room.
Strange twin room with a shower cubicle in the corner of the room! I had a bath in the shared facilities which was very nice. Also, one of the biscuit packets was open!! Staff good and let us bring our takeaway back and eat it in the pub.

Nice public house, kept clean good car park asda only five min walk shop and takeaways across road, shared toilet which is clean and close to rooms would recommend will be going back.

Great location.
Two night stay to visit The Eden Project. The staff were great, breakfast was very good. No problem with the room I was in, it had all I expected. The hotel is tired in the hallways and stairs, a lot of stairs. Good location, free parking and wi fi.

Clean budget hotel, ideal for visiting Charlestown and the Eden Project. Friendly staff, decent breakfast and convenient location. Our rooms faced the road so it was a bit noisy with traffic, so if this is not an issue, then the rooms are perfectly adequate.

One night stay
Ok for a one night stay, shared bathroom but bath is HUGE!! Shower in room. Floors bit wonky !!!!! Overall it's fine.

Over all it was a nice stay but the cleanliness of the room was not graet dust everywhere and used empty bottles in shower from last guest. Good breakfast and pleasant service.

Due to work I stay in hotels on a regular basis, I have to say this was probably the worst I have stayed in!! I cannot believe the price justified. The shower was so dirty that I had to purchase bleach from asda and cleaned it myself. To make matters worse the shower ran cold only due to a pressure issue (as identified on the control unit) certainly not expected from an electric shower. I also purchased my own cup to have a cup of tea since those in the room were also filthy and clearly had not been washed for some time. there was a thick layer of dust on the kettle which I had to clean before use. After eventually being able to relax I switched the on TV only to discover it didn't work! Wifi, your lucky if you get 10 minutes consecutive use before having to reconnect. not ideal for a businessman! Breakfast was only available from 8.30 - 9.30 which is not suitable for business stay. the bed is no more than 6inches of the floor although comfy when in it its not the easiest to get in/out of. New lamp shades and cushions can not hide the defects. After a 6 hour drive, I'd preferred to have turned round and gone back home! refund being requested.

Good place to stay for a short visit.
I stayed only one night as I had business to do in St Austell. It was a bit of a hike to get from the establishment to the centre of town. I could not find out about buses but saw them going one way only and this away from town. I do not drive and will not pay taxi prices. Very well looked after room and the pub noise underneath stopped at a reasonable hour. There were a few local shops opposite. The establishment served its purpose very well, the only drawback for me was the distance between it and the centre of town as I do not drive. Good selection of food for the breakfast, catering for vegetarians.

We stayed 3 nights and were made welcome and were well looked after. There was limited choice at breakfast but the full English was well cooked and fresh. The room was comfortable and clean.

Het hotel ligt aan een drukke straat, hierdoor was het erg luidruchtig in de kamer. Full English breakfast was goed, en ook de service van het personeel (heel vriendelijk).

Två tanter på resa
Vi kom fram vid 18-tiden. Rummet och WC/dusch var mycket rymliga! Middag åt vi i puben på bottenplan. Puben var inte störande på kvällen utan vi sov gott. Jättegod engelsk frukost på morgonen, särskilt korven som var kryddades rosmarin.

Creaky doors.
The door creaked loudly. The breakfast was ok. Not 3 stars. The whole place needs updating. Look up at the ceiling in room 4. No where to hang a wet towel. Won't go back.
