Efficient check in, helpful staff. Nice bright room, but no closet. Small bathroom, clean but there’s a smell from the sink drain. There is a stopper to prevent the smell from coming out, but you have to open it to let the water drain.

We absolutely enjoyed the Bar area, The staff was very friendly. One individual stood out for us, His name was Curtis, We had a pleasant conversation with him. The only thing I would point out that could be a negative is the absence of small wash clothes. Otherwise I would recommend staying here, We are dog lovers as well and thought the dog bowl’s were great !

Was odd checking in at the bar. The was very friendly and found no phone, fridge or bottled water. Good walking distance to restaurants.

Check in to the hotel was ok but was surprised I was checking in at the bar. Didn't expect the room to have no closet, no desk. We were there just for the night before embarking on a cruise so that was ok. In the evening we went to the dining room/bar to find the only food available was, what I regard as, bar food. As I wasn’t familiar with the area for other dining options we decide to eat here and I went up to the bar to order food for 4 people. The bartender, who wasn’t all that busy, took his time before coming up and taking my order. I had already started giving my order then in mid sentence he instantly turns around and proceeded to mix some drink for someone. I tried to get his attention and was ignored. There was another guy standing nearby doing nothing and when I finally got his attention and he pointed to the first guy so no help there. I think if I knew of another place nearby I would have thrown the menu down and leave so I had to stick it out. Eventually he finished making the drink and came back and took my order (and avoiding eye contact of any kind). Kitchen was busy and it took a while for food to show but it was otherwise good. Later decided to order a draught beer. The guy that was doing nothing earlier just stares at me immobile and with a bovine look. I repeated my order and he eventually poured the beer for me. Immature staff needs an adult in charge. If it weren’t for my unpleasant dinner experience I would have been given 4 stars.

It was the perfect location for getting on our cruise ship. 15 minute walk. Room was small but for one night not an issue. Staff was helpful. Can't say much more as we were there a very short time.

Checking in at the bar area was different with no designated lobby area but the staff were great. I did not like that they were cashless in the restaurant.Over all it is a good hotel and very convenient to everything.

Stayed here on many occasions due to the great location for my needs, the staff are always friendly and efficient. The rooms are always clean and quiet, the only one point I can make is I feel the bathrooms shower and sink drainage needs deep cleaning more often as it does create a faint smell now and then. Overall, a great hotel and lovely breakfast choices.

Stayed in Southampton Moxy many times before and always had a good stay. It’s really convenient for me as their breakfast starts from 6am and I normally need to leave just after 6:30 when in Southampton for business. One comment, however, is they’ve changed their coffee machines and the quality of the coffee has really suffered. Otherwise, the staff, facilities and rooms are great and hope that continues in future.

Excellent hotel for pre cruise stay
Booked for pre cruise departure-room was ready at early check in Lovely quirky room in dark colors. comfortable bed w motion sensor lighting underneath-very helpful at night. Great bathroom, towels good water pressure. No closet But hooks on wall were adequate. Wonderful breakfast buffet. All was clean, staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy walk to west quay mall for shopping and food. Highly recommend
