The hotel is a bit dated (e.g. our toilet didn’t flush properly). Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were excellent. Public transport is limited to buses, however the new Thomson line station will open in 2024, after which the hotel will be right on the MRT.

Nice hotel but lacking in amenities.
Could have been better if we didn’t have to listen to the television virtue signalling about the greenness of the hotel. It was late. We didn’t care. Also, no food available. No room service.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the past 20 years. It’s consistently comfortable and clean. I love the location. I can walk to the East Coast Park.

Great concierge service
I stayed in Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy on business for a week, and I want to thank Sulaiman for the great concierge service. His professional service rescued me from a couple of unexpected hiccups. I have already re-booked the hotel for my next business trip to Singapore and recommended it to my colleague.

Busy hotel with busloads of asian tourists and some western tourists. Would not describe the hotel as "Grand", given the well worn rooms, less than stellar cleaning, and numerous faulty elevators throughout my 4 day stay. Plan extra time to get to the lobby from your room as these elevators are nuts and may stop at almost each floor for no apparent reason . Noticed elevator maintenancw throughout my stay.

The air-con is too cold and I caught a cold. We have to pay S$2.30 to get the taxi. Other hotels never charge for taxi. We could enjoy shopping and food in Parkway Parade.

Good for airport access
Good distance to Changi airport via taxi only 10mins, however not so much travelling into central Singapore as no direct MRT nearby, good bus route opposite. Malls across the road with food centre, stayed here as had to be at airport for 6am.

I like most of it, but, i would like to mention these things 1. There is awesome breakfast in the morning. But, it was not mentioned anywhere in the room, about timings and i almost missed first day of breakfast as i don't know there is a complementary breakfast 2. I saw small flies on fruits in the breakfast( on last day of my stay) please try to look closely as this spoils mood for the day

Really nice hotel in a good location in Singapore. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I was only there for one night so did not get chance to use much in terms of the facilities.
