The lady that run the place was great the maid ser terrible the bed was horrible see daylight around the door the heater was loud tv and phone didn’t work had to sleep crow ways to stay on the bed the maid didn’t even put up wet towels or empty the trash had one more day paid but I didn’t stay the lady that ran the place was great she needs help fix the equipment

Loud, doors slamming shut all night, people knocking on doors, bad breakfast and coffee, hot tub was colder than the pool, overall disappointed.

The property appears to be in the process of being rehabilitated. Although there is a pool and hot tub that have water in them, the water in the hot tub is cold; and the water in the pool is warmer. That did not change during my two day stay, despite the fact that the staff said that condition would be corrected. Disappointing, at best.

Made reservation on Expedia was charged a deposit when I arrived rooms did not have the fridge and microwave as described then I was stiffed out my deposit for no reason at all only to have the police called on me for demanding my money called Expedia and received an offer for 30$ on my next reservation but I don't feel that's adequate either and im still unsatisfied and robbed

RARE GEM!!!
Very kind and accommodating staff, excellent location, spacious room and hands down the best facility amenities available within 50 miles. The building is a little older but it is obvious that they are actively working on updates while mindfull not to create disturbance for the patrons. Very hospitable and conscientious management. Easily one of my all time favorite stays!

Slum hotel
The manager Woman was very rude from the beginning because we booked through hotels.com. she charged us $30 extra for our children who weren't coming to stay until the next day when at the most we should have been only charger $10. They condition of the hotel was horrible. Safety issues everywhere. Sprinklers covered with plastic bags. No locks on the outside doors. The hot tub wasn't working the the suana wasn't "in season" in late November. The vent in our bathroom didn't work. There was no phone in our room. Burn holes in the comforters. Paint touch ups done with spray paint

The hotel is very dirty. When I entered my room, the toilet was very dirty. No soap. Very dirty kitchen. This hotel should only cost $35 per night.

Unbelievably Bad
This is an older facility, in need of renovations, but also in need of a deep cleaning. The carpets are soiled and the walls sticky. Our toilet wouldn't flush and when i lifted the tank lid to try to repair, I saw that the inside of the tank was slimy with black mold. When I turned on the shower, the first blast of water was literally black. I have never seen anything like that. The breakfast was largely inedible. But here's the worst: We booked a two-night stay, and when we checked in, we paid $400. We left after one night due to a family emergency, and asked for a refund for the second night, which they refused. Fair enough, we weren't upset by that. However, the following day they charged me another $200. When I phoned, the man said they had decided to refund us one night; I told him he had actually charged me and not refunded me. He said he would reverse the charge and credit me, but then charged me ANOTHER $200! The manager was very rude when I called again, telling me I didn't understand. She emailed me the bill, which clearly showed I was correct, and she was not. I finally got credited for the extra charges, but not credited for the night we didn't use even though they told us after the fact that they planned to offer us that credit. Stay Away from the Truman Inn.

First room smell, like cigarettes Second room key would not work first time Air conditioner was turned off room was hot King size bed only had two pillows about 2 inches thick Took a shower. Budget option, but safe
Beds were listed as Queen, but were actually full-size. Bathroom fan didn't work. Mini fridge didn't work. Floor was swept but desperately needed to be mopped (laminate in room and tile in bathroom). About 8 channels on the TV. It is VERY clear that they're trying to make profit by neglecting to replace/repair and clean appropriately. With all of that being said, it did feel safe, and the service provided was always with a smile and politeness.

They (he) knew someone had a reservation but upon arrival room was unbelievably how: AC had not been turned in on. The fridge was also not plugged in! I managed this with k as I was gone most of the evening before I had to sleep there. A Issue with TV. Only 2 pillows for a King bed—again u did know there were 2 adults scheduled.

Terrible! This place is very outdated and run down, it doesn’t look at all like the pictures. The whole hotel smelled and the room was dirty. Dirt and hair in the shower. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The staff was rude when we asked for a few extra pillows. We definitely won’t be back.

When we arrived 47 minutes before check in, we asked if a room was available for early check-in. We were told that it was a $10 charge for early check-in. When we got into our room, the floor was sticky. My huaband cleaned it with a hand towel and water. I took a picture of how dirty it was after he did one pass. There was a hair on the shower wall. There was dirt in the corners. The bed appeared clean but the mattress was hard enough, our backs hurt the next morning. Pillows were comfortable. Lack of plug ins so bringing a power strip is recommended. The bathroom is so small...u cannot open the door if someone is using the toilet. I went to the front desk and asked for 2 extra towels because we are a family of 4...and they only gave us 3. The woman came out and told me they would only give us 1 extra. After i said something, the boy brought 2. The breakfast is a joke. Its free...but the milk was sitting out without any way to keep it cold due to the thawed out ice rod that was supposed to keep it cold. They had cereal, toast, and waffles. The only reason we stayed here was due to lack of places due to the wrestling tournament. Will not stay again.
