Hello Elsa,We are sorry you did not like your stay This is a traditional country-style type of inn. If you want something more modern, I would suggest going and staying at a hotel. We are a historical place here in SLO. Please do some research so you know what you are booking before giving us a mediocre review.

A really nice motel, quiet, near the river with beautiful mature vegattion around it. Super friendly staff. Rooms and decor were dated but in really good condition and quality. Better than a lot of new junky motels.

There is no in-room coffee maker, although coffee is available from the lobby. The refrigerator is not too useful without a microwave oven.

My son is a freshman at SLO and read on parent sites that this place is the best. I looked okay from street so it took me until now to stay there. I wish I would have known sooner how charming this place was. so cute and quaint. they gave me a ceramic Apple and fresh baked cookie. They were so nice. only thing…wish they had ev charging there, but then again, most hotels there do not can’t say enough about how much I liked it there. I was in main house so I can only speak to that.

Hello Joy,Thank you for your review! Just so you are aware we are getting EV charging stations installed very soon. Hopefully before summer. The plan is to have 4 Tesla fast chargers that will be able to charge other EV vehicles as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Apple Farm. Our room was so adorable, cozy feel yet very roomy with plenty of space. The decor and fireplace add wonderful ambience. If you want to smile, stay at Apple Farm!

Have stayed here before. Love the property. Jacuzzi was down and has been for a while they said. Cookies at checkin is a nice touch

Dear James,The hot tub was only down for 1 week as we ordered an entire new heater for it. It is installed and rocking away currently. It was a bad time for it to go down though, we apologize.

This is adorable. As a history teacher, I am very impressed by the Mill- Such a neat aspect to be near. As a visitor, I am charmed by the sweet decor, the cleanliness and amount of work and care by the staff- everyone is really nice.

Great customer service! Nice room with an updated bathroom. But our room was right next to 101 and noisy. Also, the jacuzzi wasn’t working.

This is a very quaint Inn. The room I had was a single queen room. It was nicely decorated and was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was very clean. I highly recommend this Inn. The price was $75 which scared me a little but the bang for the buck was amazing. Very welcoming great hospitality- warm chocolate chip cookie!

Nice stay except for the fact that the restaurant on the property was only open for breakfast. The front desk said they haven't returned to regular hours since COVID. I find it very strange that they haven't found a way after all this time to staff their Inn.

Dear Debra,Thank you for your review! Just so you are aware it is not a staffing issue for our restaurant, its a demand issue. Since Covid we have tried opening and there are not enough people coming to justify the labor spent to staff for lunch and dinner. We are working on other possibilities in the near future.Thank you

This hotel served it's purpose for our brief stay in San Luis Obispo. The room was a nice size and clean, though it smelled a little musty, the furniture is a bit dated, and the bathroom sink faucet needed some tightening. The complimentary cookies and wine tasting was a nice bonus, and my kid liked the water wheel, frog pond, and little wooden apple gift.

It is a cozy hotel, though, very dated. They do not have daily maid service, which I miss, I had to go to the front desk to ask for more towels, and to have the trash emptied and did that at 10 o’clock in the morning and it still wasn’t done by 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

Dear Cary,We apologize you did not get room service on time. This is not normal practice for our hotel. The reason we do not offer daily turnover service is because still 90% of our guests do not want it. A charming Inn with an excellent front desk staff. The facility is clean and comfortable. Might suggest they improve their TV set up, which is not user friendly.

Adorable and quiet property located about a mile from the downtown area. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the activities (wine tasting, apple hunt) of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit outdated but that gives the places its charm, in my opinion. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Very nice property, easy access to downtown SLO. Spacious rooms with added touch of gas fireplace, sitting area, bottled water, comfortable bed. Did not eat at the restaurant. Went to wine tasting in the afternoon and bought a bottle of wine for our dinner there. Reasonably priced wines and reasonably priced rooms.

Expedia advertises breakfast. We were there Sunday night and left Monday morning. We were told they did not serve breakfast on Monday or Tuesday. We were given paper bag with a muffin, yogurt and orange for breakfast to go. The ad also shows a restaurant. The restaurant has not been open since the beginning of Covid according to the person at check in. We were told by many friends that the hotel had great food. Had we known the restaurant was not open we ever would have stayed there (We walked a block away to get our dinner). The room itself looked old and dated. There was a chip out of the floor by the entry way, The bathroom was very narrow. The space between the toilet and shower was very narrow and knees could almost touch the shower door. The space on either side of the bed was also very narrow for a king-sized bed. It was more appropriate for a queen-sized bed. This place was a waste of time and money. I would like a credit of refund for this stay. I have used Expedia for years and this is the first time I have had such a terrible experience.
