It was good but there was several times the cleaning lady was coming in and out while we were In the room and it was really awkward ! I thought they clean when you aren’t there but not sure.

Very comfy bed. The furniture was half new and updated but they didn’t update the small loveseat..it was old. Felt safe and the owner lives on the property. AC works well

Recently Remodeled - Check It Out!
Stayed one night as we were passing through to see a friend. The room was recently remodeled. Nice and clean with room darkening window shades and a very comfortable bed. The room didn’t have a blow dryer, but maintenance was very responsive to getting me one. Nice to have a frig and microwave in the room.

What a gift!
I was so grateful for my stay at Hotel Miramar! I didn’t manage my trip, and was without a place for the night. I was exhausted, just wanted to get some food and rest. Hotel Miramar showed up in such a huge way!! They were kind enough to let me park my large vehicle in their back lot, got me checked in quickly, and even had the menu and number for a FABULOUS local pizza restaurant in the room that delivered TO THE ROOM! They may not know it, but they made my night. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like on clouds. The shower has a rain shower head and it was absolute perfection to be able to relax under the water. Oh, and the blackout window covers!! I seriously could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay. Simple, classic, modern design. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Hotel Miramar for your kindness and incredibly comfortable accommodations!!

Nice, clean rooms!
The rooms were nice, clean, modern. There was a microwave, mini fridge and keurig. Shower was nice. Soft water and low pressure but I’ll take the soft water. Walls are a little thin, but I feel like that’s normal in a hotel. Keep your shade down inside, or else you can see through. Lol Both employees, probably the owners were nice. We’d stay again if ever in the area.

The room was clean and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The exterior of the property was well-kept and clean. There is no ice available on site. There is a C-store across the street to buy ice, snacks, etc. The street in front of the hotel is busy and noisy. It seems that most people in San Clemente drive motorcycles and cars without mufflers.

Rooms are newly renovated and very clean. Excellent inexpensive hotel on a busy Street but the noise wasn't bad.

The property manager was a bit rude and seemed a bit overbearing when it came to housekeeping and continued to ask for more money after another guest was added even after I paid. Would not recommend to other people. You get what you pay for

Location was safe, parking was easy, a little noisy at times very comfortable. Couch in room dirty ,broken.. Looks like renovations are in progress. Would stay at this property again.

I loved my stay at Hotel Miramar! The room and bathroom was tastefully updated, very very clean, and the bed/pillows comfortable. I would stay again!

The best part were the hosts. Very nice people and accommodating. Oh,andthe bed wasn't saggy or lumpy! The room had a smell about it.... like an old smokers room, not pleasant. kept the windows open to resolve that. Couch was grimey, smudge marks on refer, edges of table sticky. overall lack of thorough cleaning. A/C unit is a window unit , i pulled filter to clean. Maybe i expect too much for the money spent? Doubt I'll return.
