The front desk manager, Rachel was amazing and helped modify my stay even though I had booked through a 3rd party app. I was just surprised that our room was never cleaned or garbage emptied, towels replenished etc (checked in Thursday and left on Sunday) and when I asked for towels I had to go get them rather than someone drop them off. Which doesn’t sound like a big deal, but I was getting back to the room late at night and expecting there to be towels and garbages emptied and it wasn’t done. So I call the front desk and I’m told I can come down and get them…it’s 11:30 pm by this point and I’m exhausted and one of the reasons I prefer hotels to Airbnb is that I can get back to the room and I don’t have to worry about that stuff. The room is nice but very dark and the hotel itself is nice and I appreciate how clean it is and again, Rachel was amazing. But I definitely felt like I paid more than I should have for the service received. I booked based on reviews and our stay definitely didn’t match the reviews posted. I would have paid less to stay somewhere else that had less stellar reviews and not been disappointed.
