The property: The building looks very dilapidated. Trash all around the property. Homeless and/or undesirables roaming around. Had to keep looking out the window at night, thinking someone could break into the car.
The room: It smelled like someone had just smoked 100 cigarettes. The bed sheets did not smell clean and had cigarette burns in them. The carpet had seen better days and it was at a minimum, in dire need of steam cleaning. Dirty walls, curtains, doors, and closet. The interior lock handle to the bathroom door was missing, requiring someone outside the bathroom to open the door for the person using the facilities. Only 1 of the 3 lamps in the room actually worked. The 2 keycards deactivated and we were locked out of our room. We called the front desk multiple times (x10), as the lobby was rather far from our room, but the person answering the phone kept putting us on hold without saying anything. We finally took the long walk to the lobby and found another guest arguing with the front desk person for a similar reason.
$120 p/night was way overpriced for such a dumpy place.
