"We arrived to find the establishment in total disrepair and deserted. We found a phone number on a black board to call and were informed that despite our confirmed and paid booking, the shalets were not in operation. We were forced to leave and find alternative accommodation. Do not book for this establishment until it is confirmed revamped and properly managed."

"Das Hotel sah aus, als sei es geschlossen - keine Menschen, ungepflegt, dunkel. Überhaupt nicht einladend! Die Rezeptionistin fand meine Reservation nicht und fing an, herum zu telefonieren. Dann zeigte sie mir das Zimmer, auch der Pool war völlig ungepflegt. Sie sagte, es würden Renovationsarbeiten durchgeführt. Auch war das Restaurant geschlossen und das WiFi funktionierte nicht. "The lodge is okaish we just slept over enroute to Zimbabwe. It is clean that you can't fault it. Avoid a room with a shower as the showers are very impractical, they slunt to the centre so its difficult to balance in the shower. My husband actually fell. We booked during the night online as it was last minute. The only person who was there when we arrived was a guard who had no idea we were coming . "Refused to check me in, even though I'd prepaid. Asked me to pay again as they had problems receiving reimbursement from website. After lengthy discussion I was allowed to stay but they then said breakfast wasn't included - although my booking included this. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Kept me waiting in 37 degrees heat after a 5-hour drive there, and wouldn't let me sit down or have drink of water initially."
