Truly appreciated the attentiveness of the hotel manager. We arrived quite late and they had a key for us in a lockbox. Worked great! Older property, but amazingly restored and maintained. Nice job!
Don’t know how this had such a high rating…Desk clerk was nice, helpful. Room was clean enough, no evidence of dog hair (I have some allergies and am sensitive to that). Overpriced for the age of the property. But this was a very bad experience for me. The bedsheets felt like sandpaper. They (or something they’d been treated with?) made my skin itch all over as soon as I got into bed, progressed to feeling like a moderate sunburn. Almost gave up and slept in the car. Finally got dressed and slept on top of the quilt with a jacket and towel on top of me. Hubby didn’t have the sheets problem, but was uncomfortable because the ac kept kicking on and off (even with fan turned to continuous). Nice lady in the office but I would not recommend this motel.
Comfortable and Clean place to stay. The room was large and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. Check in was pleasant and I had a very nice visit with the lady who helped me with info I was looking for about the best route to continue my MC trip the next day as well as good info about the restaurants in town. Who stay here again.
Nice little spot just out of town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy. For what you got the price was a steal. Would stay again.
This is a little gem, don’t let the outside fool you. It was clean, friendly, comfortable, and updated inside. Price was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
The staff are sweet. But the “pet friendly” is false because the area is on a steep dead grass hill that hurts your dog. There is also no mini golf despite the listing. Rooms are TINY but very clean.
Quirky little mom and pop style motel. Clean and comfortable. Super friendly gal that works in the office. They have been working really hard to update the rooms. Very comfortable bed. This is the second time we’ve come here and we will be back again in the future! I like that it isn’t a cookie cutter big chain hotel. Makes it much more unique!
My girlfriend and I stopped here for the night since we've been camping in Washington and making our way to Crater Lake. This place was above our expectations. Friendly service and cozy. We both recommend.
Our stay at the motel was great. It was close to everything in town.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The parking lot was clean.
We stayed in the bear themed room and it was a fun room. Wood furniture and bear accessories were a lovely touch.
Like everyone says, beds are comfy. AC blew cold. Quiet. Solid shower water pressure. Toilets did not flush well.
Staff was kind.
As a trans man, with his trans family, traveling in a Trans Am, with the kids watching Transformers, it worked well. Thankfully we did not have any transmissions issues.
I made a trip to visit a friend I hadn’t seen in 50 years. Property was cute clean mostly remodeled, close to everything. The highway is loud that it is next to the river so here’s the bad part I Camera disappeared and nobody seems to know where it is they didn’t see it on the cameras blah blah blah well. It probably went out of the room in the bedding and I’m pretty upset about that and I think people should know that you cannot leave anything of value in your room. Please be careful I lost some irreplaceable pictures.
The place is in a quaint little town with all the shops within walking distance and is your mom-and-pop type shop of motels. It's staffed with the friendliest, helpful people. There are trails right by the nearby creek with beautiful scenery.
