"We are from the Waikiki area but this is the first time I've stayed at the Queen Kap. I get coffee in their lobby all the time when I come to town. I was there with my elderly father to bring him back to the island one last time to relive and revisit his childhood memories. My disappointment was the contruction, the noise, the person in next room was smoking on his balcony(smoke coming thru to my open balcony door) security knocking at his door 2 different days, early in the morning. "The Stay Hotel was an incredible bargain. lt is located the midst of the high end resort, hotels, and blocks from the water. The staff was so welcoming and kind. The room was comfortable and clean, if outdated. Really glad I stayed there and will stay again."
