"Innkeepers were friendly and helpful. We had a chalet which included a sitting area (with sofa, arm chair and gas fireplace) and kitchenette. The sleeping area was furnished with a four-poster bed and jacuzzi. Bathroom was modern, pristinely clean. Breakfast was available at an extra charge that was well worth it. Only downside was the fact that dinner is only served 4 days a week. That said, the innkeepers mage helpful recommendations for nearby places. I definitely recommend this place if you...

We chose the full tasting menu which ranged from a warm shrimp salad to ice cream on rhubarb at the end with about five or six other dishes in between. It would be difficult to match in inventiveness, taste and quality what we had this evening with any restaurant in the country."

"Good peaceful location next to St Peters Canal "swing bridge", a beautiful view of Bras d'Or Lake. Good dinner atmosphere with local artists performing in dining room four nights a week. A little old and worn in appearance, but comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the guest laundry (washer) was not working the entire time we stayed here."
