Amazing building - some details to improve
Very beautiful historical building, amazing decoration and charm, pleasant terrace to stay in. Some issues: because of covid no breakfast and no access to the kitchen tp make coffee (not entirely the establishment's fault even though the other hotels/B&B we stayed at were still offering some breakfast). The room wasn't cleaned and I had to make the bed myself.

Dear Marion, thank you for this review. Because of Covid, the Campania Regional Authority has dispatched guidelines to which we do not only abide as they are compulsory, but also because they meet some obvious basic standard that prevented our area fro the: we are happy about it. The kitchen was not among our services even before the covid. For the mentioned guuidelines we removed the breakfast from our services and of course cut the price off. B&B's which serve the breakfast are breaking the laws; not only: the disinfection costs of a kitchen are extremely impacting the price so unless you paid almost double the price you paid at ours, you might have incurred in a not disinfected property. Clients are strictly forbidden to make coffee or touch any food at all. We do confirm as per description and several emails you received we won't enter our clients room untile the check out; clients can request extra cleanings which are obviously not normal cleanings but virus sanifications at extra costs. kindly

The Church was a very ecclectic, clean b and b. It had the cleanest shared bathroom I have ever seen. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There were very interesting touches everywhere. The only negative is the walk up the stairs, but you do get used to it.

We had a great time at the Church. Unique rooms, excellent equipment and chatty friendly host! It is a climb to the 4th floor, but it didn't bother us. There were loads of restaurants and bars around the area, so that was great also. Despite being in the middle of the city, our room was nice and quiet 10/10, would recommend

Hôtel bien situé dans le centre historique
Accueil très sympa, petits déjeuners copieux avec notamment chaque jour des gâteaux faits maison. Décoration de la chambre très originale. Bon confort et salle de douche privative,également une terrasse privative que nous avons beaucoup appréciée. Un petit bémol toutefois, nous aurions aimé qu'il y ait 2 ou 3 chaises ou fauteuils. Pour nous, retraites, le nombre de marches à gravir (93) est un peu pénible, mais le fait de nous trouver dans un palais du 16eme siècle valait bien cet inconvénient !

On se croirait dans une chambre chez des amis
Bien que la salle de bain soit commune et que l'escalier d'accès soit raide et long le séjour était très agréable la chambre est spacieuse et calme le petit déjeuner est comme à la maison et le couple est vraiment adorable et serviable

築500年というので期待と不安でワクワクしていたのですが、とても素敵なオーナーに迎えられ、素晴らしい滞在時間を過ごせました。 広々とした客室には、オーナーのセンスが光る家具が点々と並んでいました。窓やテラスの景色も趣があり、共用のリビングルームもとても気に入りました。 バス、トイレ共用が苦手な方にはオススメできませんが、キッチンも時間帯によって共用できるので、ロングステイの方には良いかと思います。 私たちは、神父様のような彼に心温まるおもてなしを受け、とても居心地が良かったです。 帰りに見当たらず、さよならできなかったのですが、エンリコ素晴らしい時間をどうもありがとう！ 入れ方教えてくれたモカマシン、おみやげに買いました！ 日本でさっそく使っています！ あなたのすてきな、すてきなホテルにまたいつか行きたいです！

We had a wonderful visit to Naples staying at the Church. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, and the location was perfect for walking and seeing the city. We will definitely return.

sehr gute Lage, viele Geschäfte in der Nähe, da im Innenhof sehr ruhig. Manko 4. Stock hohe steile Stiegen, Bad und WC nicht im Zimmer. Wenig Auswahl zum Frühstück. einmal gar kein Frühstück - gabs in der Bar neben an.

La sérénité au coeur du centre historique
Séjour très agréable dans le calme d'un ancien hôtel particulier au coeur du centre historique mais avec le bénéfice du calme, les chambres ouvrant sur la cour. Les chambres sont très grandes, très agréables, décorées avec goût. La terrasse pour le petit déjeuner et les petites pauses très agréable, avec les jardinières parfois étonnantes de notre hôte, Enrico, très prévenant et de bon conseil. Des dizaines de cafés et restaurants à moins de dix minutes de marche. A dix minutes à pied de la gare centrale. Seule contrainte à prendre en compte : c'est tout en haut et l'escalier est un peu raide, donc éviter l'énorme valise ... Mais très bon cardio training quotidien.

steep climb up to heaven
Great little hideaway from the busy streets of naples. Great hosts and breakfast. Just note steep climb up to hotel through a very narrow stairwell. We will opt for a private washroom our next stay. Other than that, delightful!

Un super acceuil, un joli lieu avec une terrasse fort agreable, il manquait juste un peu de salé au petit dejeuner mais les gateaux faits maison étaient fort bons. Attention cependant aux marches qui peuvent etre compliquées avec de grosses valises...

Nice B & B near the train station.
The room was modern and very clean with a nice bathroom. The only negative would be the size of the room. It was a little cramped but we were only in it for one night so this did not bother us. The lady that checked us in could not speak any English and we speak no Italian so that was an experience. We also felt safe in the area walking to it from the train station. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay near the main train station.

Can't get better for the price in Naples
Clean, chic, very friendly staff. Great buffet style breakfast. Room spacious, clean and quiet. Central location in old part of city. A little hard to find. Only issue is it is on fourth flour of building with no elevator, but to their credit, they sent us an email reminding us of that in case this was a problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful and offered good trip advice. Naples is not the cleanest safest city but we felt welcomed and safe in this place.

Un angolo di pace e creatività nel cuore di Napoli
Siamo stati due notti in questo adorabile b&b in un palazzo storico del centro di Napoli. I giovani gestori hanno creato un ambiente semplice e accogliente utilizzando materiali di riciclo in modo molto creativo: vecchie moke trasformate in vasi, legni lavorati a mano usati come attaccapanni, abat-jour ricavate dalle lampade a petrolio. Il balcone pieno di piante è un'oasi di tranquillità nella vivacità e nel folclore di SpaccaNapoli.

Quirky and enjoyable
Lovely clean spacious quite quirky (in a good way) room, only slight inconvenience was bathroom being a short naked jog down the public hall from bedroom. Helpful friendly staff. Nice breakfast and balcony. Lots of stairs on the way up, no lifts. In a great city centre location if you don't feel uncomfortable walking a few darkish streets at night.

Amazing hotel, perfect location and great staff ja
Amazing hotel right in the middle of naples,staff were brilliant emailing beforehand with the best ways to get there and warning about taxi drivers. Perfect location to explore naples and staff were amazing recccomending where to go as we were only there for a day!definitely recommend to anyone!

Difficult check in, sketchy neighborhood
We arrived in Naples in the afternoon, unable to park our car in this neighborhood only to find the owner wasn't there. We tried to text and call her but the phone number didn't work. When we finally found WiFi to email her back she set up a meeting time an hour later. We waited around the neighborhood which is in the historical district but this historical district had nothing open. shops were all closed and gated up in the middle of the day so we just walked the streets aimlessly with all our bags before deciding to book another hotel with an actual reception in a secure building. Due to the cancellation policy, we still had to pay for the room which is unfair because the advertised hotel is not what it seemed. No customer service and a sketchy neighborhood. We didn't feel comfortable staying so we ate the cost to get another room. In the future I will wait until I can see the neighborhood before reserving because that situation was a bait and switch.

Wonderful hidden gem
A very cosy b&b in a central Neapels area. A calm oasis hidden away in the busy Neapels streets. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with everything from directing you to the best restaurants to greating you with coffee from the nearby café. Don't forget to have breakfast out on the terrace! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Fabulous stay!
Magnificent location in the XVIth century palace at the heart of Naples historical center. You can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace with pictoresque view. The most famoust pizzerias are just around the corner. Rooms are large, clean and tastefully arranged. Place is run by charming young people, who combine helpfulness with inteligent humor. It makes stay in Church an exceptional experience!

nice, quiet, stylish place in the centro storico
hard to believe, but right in the middle of the beautiful buzz of the old town center, once you climbed up several stairs "the church" is very peaceful and quiet. it uses some IKEA-basics, but combines them with creative details to a great minimalistic style. enrico and co. are really friendly people, coming up with great tips of what to see and do, etc. the area might get touristy in high season, but it's very central, so you can basically walk everywhere within a 30-40 min. radius, if you want to. and walking you should! napoli is amazing - once you leave a few blocks in the old town you'll hardly see any tourists, but lots of 'authentic' city life, mingled between centuries and centuries of art and history. yes, napoli is chaotic, it's quite dirty and in some parts really poor - but wonderful. you'll find all the 'real life' stuff you'll have to look for very hard in other cities like rome, paris, london on almost every corner. not to mention pizza, pasta and coffee...

Nice stay in Naples
A very nice B&B locating at th heart of historic center. The B&B itself is a nice old building. It's the right place to experience charming Napoli.

Mignon petit hotel , très bien tenu , le personnel très sympathique. Très bien situé dans le coeur historique de Naples. Gare de bus pour pompei a 15 min de l hotel

un angolo di paradiso nel cuore della citta'
siamo stati per 3 notti prima di natale in questo posto bellissimo nel cuore pulsante del centro storico,ideale per vivere appieno la vivacità e la passione della gente del posto e sentire i profumi che risvegliano i ricordi. Enrico e Carla molto accoglienti e pronti a dare qualsiasi informazione utile per visitare la citta', stanze ampie curate e pulite. Magnifico terrazzo che affaccia sui tetti del centro storico; colazione abbondante. Abbiamo trovato un posto incantevole per i nostri futuri soggiorni a Napoli!!!

Recommended
The Church is in a bustling part of town but set back off the road in a quiet courtyard. The building is historical, and I had nice views over balconies and trees from my room. Enrico, who checked me in was very friendly as was his girlfriend who I met later in my stay who helped me with directions around the city. I liked my room which was spacious, clean and comfortable with nice little design features. The shared bathroom was also clean, the shower was OK. The complimentary breakfast was good with different pastries, cakes, cereal, toast, jams, juices and hot drinks. Eating it out on the terrace (in November!) was an added bonus. All in all, I would recommend this place and would choose to stay again if I return to Naples.

Island of tranquility in a sea of noise
The church is on the 4. floor rooftop of an old building. The Hotel has several terraces overlooking the old town, the beauty of which is that you don't feel the noise and mess of the hectic oldtown life up there. My room had a private patio to the back, overlooking a courtyard with palms, which is perfect for working quietly outside. The room had a fan and heating. The bed was very comfortable and there was no bedframe so you'll fit in in case you are larger than average like me. Great place to stay if you have things to do downtown, and don't need more traditional hotel services such as laundry etc.

Mixed bag made special by a great staff.
I would give the staff friendlyness and helpfulness a 5. They were all great and we even had a chance to meet the owner. It is a basic hotel, bathroom is either shared or down a hall open to others. It is down a city center ally that the taxi couldn't reach. If you can't take stairs, there are several flights of stairs to reach the front door. This does give a nice rooftop patio. You are in the heart of the small streets of city centre which was great.
