Excellent property in a very good location of Munich. Includes a sauna and steam room. Restaurant is very good. Very walkable area. Staff are highly trained and very helpful. This is an excellent and top notch hotel.

We Loved this hotel! Our room was spacious and well appointed. They think of everything at this hotel from the fruit and cookies when you arrive to the turndown bed service at night with chocolate. Although the location isn’t in the location we went to it was a short walk or Uber. Our stay was fabulous and would not have changed a thing.

The staff of this hotel are amazing! Friendly, helpful with all Our travel needs. Rooms are comfortable with free nice items in the mini bar, fruit plate, water amd chocolates. The free bikes are a nice touch being only a 10 min bike ride to all the sites. I can’t say enough about the level of quality and service we received.

We were expecting a 'typical' city hotel but arrived at a wonderfully calm well run and welcoming property. All staff bar none were excellent in all regards. The only place to stay when in Munich.

The hotel and the entire staff were 5 Star. The restaurant and bar were beautiful and the service and courtyard were fantastic. Location was walking distance to the main attractions in the city. Safe at all hours. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich.

Teils ist das Personal sehr freundlich, teils etwas unterkühlt. Das Restaurant ist sehr durchschnittlich, keine gehobene Küche.... vielleicht ist Letzteres ja auch nicht erwünscht. Sauberkeit ist für mich oberste Priorität. Leider war dies nicht der Fall. Die Zeit, die den ausländschen Zimmermädchen pro Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt wird ist auch extrem knapp bemossen. Daher verständlich, dass eine ordentliche Reinigung des Zimmers auch nicht möglich ist. Jedoch verschmutzte (braune Flecken) wände rund um die Kloschüssel & die Klobürste sind für mich nicht tragbar! Das Hotel ist sehr veraltet und schon etwas heruntergekommen.... Teppiche in den Gängen verschmutzt, Möbel in den Zimmern abgenutzt, Türe zur Küche auf Grund der häufigen Benutzung verschmutzt und abgenutzt, Aussenfassade bröckelt, etc. Bis auf die Toilettengeschichte wäre das Hotel ok, wenn es mit 3 Sternen versehen wäre. Spielt ncht in der selben Liga wie das 4 Jahreszeiten oder der Bayerische Hof! Mann muss allerdings auch sagen, dass die PReise auch viel niedriger sind als in gewöhnlichen 5 Stern Hotels.

I have been coming here for many years and will continue, the staff is extraordinary and the property is always in 100 Bristol shape. The bar is perfect and it’s across the street from Käfer, the best food shop in the world.

Our new favorite hotel--ANYWHERE
This is our new favorite hotel. Before we arrived, my wife was worried that the hotel was not in Old Town. We found that it was only about a 15 minute walk (or 7 minute taxi ride), so still very convenient. And the neighborhood is fantastic--best restaurant and high-end grocery store within 1/2 block (both named Kafer). No chain restaurants are allowed in the neighborhood, so all locally-owned. Service was fantastic--Markus the lead concierge gave us great suggestions. The room was also amazing; comfortable, spacious, and stylish. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely property that is not quite a 5 star. Positives: lovely neighborhood and lovely property. Negatives: absurdly small lobby, absurdly small room…a 5 star should have drawers for your clothes..this did not…and hanging space more that 12 inches deep, a place for 2 pieces of luggage (we had to take things off a small end table to set our second bag), shower at 9 am should not alternate hot and cold like a college dorm room…a 5 star should have figured the hot water out, no locker space at spa (be aware both sexes share locker and steam and shower with NO accommodation for those that think that inappropriate …and i had to put my gym clothes on the floor before sauna and shower. In summary, beautiful quality property that fails in too many ways to be a 5 star
