We enjoyed the view of the beach and watching the sunset from the balcony. The rooms are adequate, and clean with all of the basic needs. The property could use some signage from the street as there is no way to know it is there unless you are using google maps.

Great value on the beach
Good: Big room with great air con and plenty of hot water in the shower. There is private parking for a couple of cars. Walk out the back door and you're on the beach very close to where the boats leave for the flamingo tours. Covered area on beach with sun loungers and table and chairs - great for an evening drink to watch the sunset! Not so good: Waterproof cover on mattress which made for a bit of a sweaty night's sleep. Other than that the bed was very comfortable.

A simple room in a small 5 room hotel right on the beach. The town of Celestun is friendly to visitors and tourists but not overrun with them. it has a genuine feel of a small Mexican fishing village and visitors intermingle comfortably with the inhabitants. interesting biological reserve adjacent to town has numerous bird and amphibious species, and dolphins can be see swimming near the pier that juts into the ocean where local fishermen and residents gather every day and evening. A great alternative to the resort town and all in inclusive package type of stay.

De locatie was goed, het lag recht aan het strand. Alleen was de WiFi erg slecht en zat er een terras (van het hotel) naast onze kamer dus als daar mensen liepen was het erg gehorig. Wij hadden de kamer met uitzicht op de oceaan, dat was erg mooi.

My stay was very pleasant. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The direct beach access is an incredible feature. The price is reasonable and the beds very comfy. I'd stay again for sure.

Einfaches aber gute Unterkunft, perfekte Lage am Strand und nur drei Minuten zu Fuss vom zentralen Platz mit Restaurants und Bus Station. Grosser Balkon, unser Zimmer mit Fenster zum Meer/Strand. Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben gleich noch eine Nacht verlängert.

Simply perfect though took me a minute adjust, but that was the point - a sort of reset from my busy city life. Sleep, eat beach, maybe a kayak/bike trip through the mangroves (see the owner of Cafe Dayad). Not a bustling town when I visited, but not totally quiet, either. The owner & staff were *wonderful*. Thank you!!! 💯😊 The beaches are not perfect but manage expectations and know that the water is great and ideal for ocean water lounging/swimming - once 5 feet into the not-too-wavy ocean - since the sand leading in is half covered with shells. The ocean remains shallow for a solid 10 meters which is nice. I wish the town would maintain the sand a bit better. Celestun was more raw and real than a typical manicured vacation town, which takes a moment to adjust to, and which you grow to love but at first was unexpected. It can be chaotic and is not always clean - unlike the hotel which itself is perfectly clean (and amazingly located). I would love if there was a good way for the guests to have coffee or tea on the property in the morning since Dayad and other spots nearby have unreliable hours. There are some cute and lovely places to eat in town (3 minutes away) but be weary as many places are sub-par. Also, there are two particularly nice places to eat on the water. Very few people spoke English and I don’t speak Spanish but I made do and you will too. Alejandra: thank you!!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la posada Maria Isabel! C'est un petit paradis avec une vue incroyable sur les couchers de soleil. Cet endroit nous fait apprécier la plage, l'océan,les bateaux de pêcheurs et la gentillesse des habitants. Alejandra est une hôte tellement accueillante, avec ses conseils elle a su rendre notre séjour très agréable. Nous reviendrons séjourner ici avec plaisir. Un gros merci aussi à ses employés serviables et souriants.

Es war sehr schön am Strand gelegen, wir hatten einen großen Balkon mit Sicht aufs Meer. Eigener Parkplatz. Einziger Minuspunkt war nachts die sehr laute Musik aus der Nachbarschaft.

Al contratar por internet y plataformas es indispensable con las especificaciones y lo que cuenta el hospedaje. Moo el agua por ejemplo; en cuanto a la limpieza, usted fue muy clara en no querer limpieza en su habitación durante su estancia y es inevitable los olores si también introducen is alimentos de la calle y los mantenía dentro de su cuarto. Gracias a esto, estaremos más pendiente en la introducción de alimentos a las habitaciones. Agradecemos el hospedarse aquí. Y esperemos sus futuras experiencias en otros destinos sean más placenteras. Saludos.

Für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend, Sauberkeit war soweit auch in Ordnung - hier und da lagen ein paar Haare rum.. leider waren die Matratzen mit Plastik umgewickelt, sodass man beim Schlafen quasi im eigenen Schweiß lag. Lage war perfekt.

Simple but comfortable in great location
Great location, right on the beach & only a stroll to the restaurants. Simple nice room but poor shower & no fridge. Great balcony looking out over the beach & the lighthouse.

Great place. Excellent location. The owner Alejandra is very nice and helpful with anything you need. Great terrace to sit on and watch the sunset. Only negative is the internet can be spotty. Not the fault of the hotel just the remote nature of Celestun itself

Sadly we only had one evening here, and due to a major accident on the cuota we were three hours late. Nevertheless we completely loved our time here. The room was simple, plain, but comfortable. No hot water, but it really didn’t matter, the water temperature was comfortable enough. The owner is an angel, so nice! And you walk right out the back onto a quiet beach. Comfortable and tranquil, I would happily come back and spend more time here.

La estancia estuvo bien, hubo inconvenientes con su caldera, no encontramos la forma de hacer una calcelacion ya que no era responsabilidad nuestra, aún así nos quedamos por el servicio y atención de la propietaria fue excelente gracias
