The property was newer and very clean. We were happy to be walking distance to Beale St. and convenient to most sites. Our only complaint was the “Gran Prix” raceway on Union St until 2:30 am, but that’s not the fault of the hotel. We felt that we were safe, even walking before dark. The parking area was gated and well lit.

Great location! Walkable to downtown and Beale Street and close to Sun Recording Studio. Easy on and off freeway access. Clean facility with friendly, helpful staff.

Excellent property and having never stayed at a La Quinta before, I will be back! Incredibly clean and friendly staff. This location was very convenient too - short walk to riverfront and even shorter to Beale Street.

the location of this hotel was perfect for our stay. we could walk safely to all places we wanted to see including the water and bass pro and bealle street. the ball park was so close that would love to come back for a baseball game sometime. staff was very nice especially gentleman that checked us in. he was so helpful in giving us extra pointers!

Good: 6’ bed very comfortable, pillows too. Not great: all breakfast plates, cups, cutlery were disposable and not recyclable. Paper cups covered in thin plastic. So much plastic waste. Also felt a little unsafe walking back late at night as it’s a little out of town.

Great place to stay if your focus is downtown Memphis. It was rainy during our stay so we drove to most sites. Ample parking garages with reasonable rates. Our room was handicap accessible which we didn’t need. The bathroom floor got soaked each morning. There was only one hook near the shower to hang a towel. And surprisingly only grab bars on the opposite side of the bathroom near the toilet. If we got this room again I would request a change.

The facility was very accommodating when a sudden and unforseen issue arose in our room. We were set up in a new, upgraded room within minutes of my reporting the issue.

Great stay at La Quinta. Very convient when traveling with pets and don’t charge an outrageous fee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the had free parking along with free breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. I would stay here again. The only cons were the pillows weren’t very comfortable but as I brought my own it was not an issue for me.
