Such a nice location, literally across from the monastery and the Patis de Belen is around the corner. But skip the line because the hotel actually provide the tarts at their breakfast buffet! Amazing!

Hotel justamente a la par del monasterio y a 1km de torre de Belém, el personal del hotel impresionantemente amable, el hotel un poco descuidado creo que lo están renovando.

The staff were great but this hotel is starting to feel pretty dated and tired. The carpets need replacing, small details need repair, etc. The hotel bar was never open, which seemed odd.

I would rate this hotel as a 2 star. Carpets in the halls and rooms were very stained.

The carpet in the hotel room and hallway is so dirty and smells awfully. I have no idea how this hotel is rated four stars — even the outstanding location doesn’t help.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. It's across from the Monistery, so quiet at night. Best for seeing the Belem area.

Recommended
This hotel is in a great location - walking distance to many sites. The breakfast is fabulous and includes warm pastels de nata from the famous Pasteis de Belem which is a block away. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The check in and out was quick and easy. The room was clean and well stocked. It would be great if they would update the stained carpeting.

It is close to the museum district as the monastery is right across the road. I cut my finger trying to get out of the shower the first day as the part of the glass barrier which should move so you can get in and out of the tube was stuck. It became unstuck when I was getting out of the shower. I got put into a new room with an handicapped shower, which presented a new set of UI challenges such as how to get the shower to spray water rather than have the movable shower head do it and the sliding door hide the light switches but it was OK. They arranged a taxi to the rail station for my last morning and it showed up, so that was good. The breakfast was good, with stuff for people who like eggs and meat, stuff for those who like cheese and cold cuts, and there was a bit of cake on the side for those who like that. The handicapped room had a door to a patio with artificial grass, presumably for service animal chillin' and poopin'.

Reasonable stay
Good location for Belem and Jeronimos. Encountered 3 receptionists on overnight stay and have to say only 1 of them was particularly friendly. For the price, the hotel was reasonable not bad but not excellent. Rooms are clean but a bit dated, no noise at night. Good, powerful shower. No kettle in the room for tea/coffee. Room door needed closed firmly to ensure shut. A/C not the best but windows can be opened out. I'd rate it a 6/10 rather than an 8-9/10.

Das Hotel ist etwas heruntergekommen und nicht mehr im Zustand eines 4 Sterne Hotels. Der Kühlschrank ist nicht angeschlossen, keine Getränke im Kühlschrank. Die Teppichböden in den Fluren und in den Zimmern haben viele Flecke. Die Holzböden im Empfangsbereich wölben sich, so dass man leicht stolpern kann, wenn man nicht aufpasst. In den Fugen der Badewanne ist Ansatz von Schimmel. Die Holzverkleidung vor dem Badezimmer ist beschädigt, sieht schäbig aus und müsste ausgewechselt werden. Das Personal ist aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Excellent location. Eaay and safe parking in the street. Excellent restaurants area. Near to all landmarks in the city. AC limited for cooling. We had to open the window to sleep because the room was too hot.

No water, kettle and iron box in rooms in this 4 star hotel. No restaurant within the hotel. It is not a 4 star by any means. Only good thing is, it is close to tram stop, so easy to commute to city centre. I wouldn't stay here in future and wouldn't recommend.

The location was excellent. They arranged pick up at the port, recommended restaurants. The room was fine and the breakfast very good. They advertise bar and restaurant but there was none.
