Casual and private. Perfect walking distance to downtown Kinsale. Very enjoyable backyard deck for hanging out in peace and quiet and for bringing a tasty dinner back to enjoy with travelling friends. Soft coloured purple doors a bonus, on a personal note.
This was the second worst place we’ve ever stayed in over 40years of travelling! There was no service to speak of, the walls were paper thin and we could hear every word the people next door, the floors all creaked an we heard every move made in the whole place, it was the most expensive than any of the four star hotels we stayed in on the rest of our three week trip in Ireland...a disaster!
Clean and comfortable the accommodation was ok - however the shower was poor and you had to remember to switch the immersion heater on. The room we had in the loft had little headroom and the bathroom door was particularly low resulting in a number of painful encounters
Good location, easy to find and nice view from the bedroom. Someone was on site to let us in and explain the door access etc.
Bedroom colour scheme was bright and fun paintings around the building, outside decking/terrace area was really nice. Bed was really comfy and room was warm whenever we got back to it from our adventures.
Bathroom was a bit dated but everything worked and had towels etc.
Very good value for money for Kinsale, perhaps a kettle with tea/coffee in the room might come in handy in the future.
