I made an online reservation at Motel 6 in N. Kansas City, Missouri for two nights: September 7 thru September 9, 2023. I was emailed a confirmation number. On the day I arrived, the front entrance door was open,
but the small glass door of the reservation counter was locked. I sat in my car, called the motel three times hoping that someone would answer, but instead, (on all three occasions) I received an automated recording stating that there was no reservation under my name and was asked
to remain on the line. After waiting 45min. I left and booked a reservation with a neighboring hotel. I know little about Motel 6. I chose this motel to save money on a 2-day trip. But, after seeing the property and experiencing poor customer service, I highly recommend spending more money on a reputable hotel no matter how short your trip may be.
