"First impressions, as you drive through a housing estate were not good, however, both rooms we had booked were very clean and had all we needed for a stop off to the airport. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've used in a while. I have paid double and had dirty rooms in Birmingham, Cambridge, Chester,York and London . Quite hotel all night even though it was full."

"Highly recommend this property for the price it is great. The location was perfect for us super close to the train station and the walk into town was very easy even with a toddler. "I loved my room at the very top of the hotel, it was very comfortable and had windows on both sides. I was told it was top floor without lifts, and I was fine with this. I loved all the paintings, antique furniture and knock knacks around the public areas, and there was real character to the place The reception staff were extremely friendly and pleasant.
