We liked that it was near to the airport and the tram stop was only a 5 min walk away. Fantastic link into the main town Unita or to the Airport and very cheap. As the hotel was out of town our local coffee shop on the way to tram stop was really cheap! Pastries & coffee were excellent too. Staff at the hotel very friendly and accomodating. We arrived earlier than our check in time but the room was ready. Our room was tidied every day with fresh towels which was great. Bed was comfortable & shower worked well. A nice room. Maybe an extra plug socket by the bedside would have been useful for charging phones at night as there was only 1 one side. Overall a nice convenient hotel, a pleasant stay.
Booked last minute for one night stay as flight cancelled and needed somewhere near airport for one night. Hotel was in need of a refurbishment, very dark and dingy corridors, room lighting was insufficient, bulbs needed to be of a higher wattage and one light didn’t even have a bulb. Shower needed a good clean, mouldy sealant and shower door was filthy. Bed was comfortable enough but duvet was lumpy. Traffic was very noisy outside. Reception staff were very pleasant and even got a coffee at 7am whilst waiting for taxi.
I only stayed for a few hours due to a cancelled flight but the front desk agents were very nice, helpful and welcoming as well as the cleaning lady on duty.
Really nice hotel. Better than pictures show. Staff are EXTREMELY helpfula friendly. The only issue to be aware of is limited (zero) parking in front of the hotel. You have to block an adjoining driveway into a carpet store in order to unload your bags. The actual garage is across the street down a ramp. Be ready for that and the rest will be easy.
I cannot recommendation the Cosmopolitan enough!!!! If I had 10 stars as a choice, they would get them. They were absolute fabulous. I had had an expected hospital stay in Italy and was released early. My wife hadn't arrived from the states yet. Upon check-in at the Cosmo, they realized my blight and bend over backwards to help me any way possible. If you are in the Florence area, this is the place to stay.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good clean room, not too expensive, newer amenities, everything you need, but very small. Two twin beds may as well be one king as they are that close together. I would repeat here, but I’d book a bigger room for two or more.
My husband and I stayed the night before our flight out of Florence. The hotel was great, the neighborhood not so much. We had a hard time finding a restaurant nearby that we could walk to in the dark and feel safe. But the location near the airport was really convenient.
Clean, staff excellent, all services as expected. Walkable to a number of restaurants of pizza to full course dining. We visit Italy annually for years and Cosmo is a top hotel all considered and for its rating and price.
Hotel exceeded expectations for room size, cleanliness and staff service. Basic hotel close to airport but also within easy access to city centre by public tram. Wish they had airport shuttle service available.
The Hotel is a very nice boutique Hotel.
It is a little far from historic centre, about a 45 minute walk to the Duomo,
The rooms are well maintained and clean.
The bed is comfortable with very nice sheets . Bathroom is big, clean and very modern.
A nice place to stay.

Friendly staff. Very comfortable room and bed. Very good breakfast with a lot of variety (bacon, sausages, eggs, bread and sweet pastry options). Only a 5 minute walk to the tram stop with a regular tram every 5 or so minutes, into the centre within around 15 minutes. Generally was always quiet outside the hotel.
Rooms are updated, clean and a good size with modern conveniences. Location is near the airport with public tram service to airport and downtown within 10 minutes walking distance. No shuttle to airport but easy taxi or tram. Very clean, hospitable property and excellent front desk service and good breakfast.
