"My father and I just had a recent stay at Hotel Borg for three nights. We were very upset with the service from the housekeeping staffs looking after our room. When we first arrived to our room, we found out that our welcome fruit basket was empty. That was not what we expected to see at a (5-star?) luxury hotel (as stated on the hotel’s own website). "Was there 4 nights. Everything else was good except for the wi-fi in my room #716 where they couldn' t fix the wi-fi problem which was on and off for the first three nights and they kept saying that there's nothing wrong. It s quite annoying after a long day outing and back to my room with no wi-fi connection. Had to go sit at the hall way to get wifi connection sometime."

"We had a great stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful. We really enjoyed the aesthetic; however the room was quite small and did not feel as nice as the rest of the hotel. The staff were wonderful, breakfast and the bar were great. Free parking was fantastic, and we were so close to everything downtown that we mainly just walked everywhere."

"This was a wonderful hotel, and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Reykjavik! The staff were so kind and polite, and the facilities were clean and relaxing. The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights. "
