"Location is great. Breakfast is superb. Only problem is they don't understand "over easy" eggs. The might understand "light" instead. When I go back next year I'll bring a picture. It's a historic building but the remodel is modern and tasteful. All staff are friendly and responsive to my needs."

"Just returned from a 2 night trip aboard the lovely Ocean Mis, a beautiful boat that has been transformed into a boutique Hotel, our room was large with views from all sides and a tastefully decorated bathroom with a lovely shower, the staff were friendly and helpful in Particular Gordon on the front desk who answered all my many questions. The area around the Ocean mist had plenty of great restaurants and a 2 minute walk away to take the tram into Edinburgh City, so all in all a perfect stay"
