"An outstanding property in a tea plantation. The main house is full of furniture from days gone by, including nice library. The staff are very incredible. We went at a time when the night temperatures got cold. Not a problem. We ate by a roaring fire, slept of beds made toasty and warm by electric blankets, and were taken for an incredibly hike through the villages with the tea garden as well as through the garden itself. Spectacular! "

"The hotel’s approach is soo steep, we had to think twice before heading out each time. They should offer complimentary shuttle service at least. Not recommended for elderly travelers. The food was not that great for the price they are charging. Overall the trip will be more exhausting if one decides to put up at this property. There is no parking available at the property so if you call for a taxi, you have to be ready at the gate at the precise time so that you can board the car and leave as it...

"Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling."

"This hotel does not have bad amenities but a terribly reluctant management. Basically, the answer was 'no, sorry we cannot' to every request. We even had to insist and fight to have laundered sheets put on our beds as the bed we were given had unwashed, stained sheets. It did have a nice rooftop deck with a wonderful mountain view. Also the lobby was quite nice even if extremely cold; we asked that the fireplaces be turned on, to which they said 'no' so we could not really hang out there. I...
