One drawback or negative was mini fridge in room which wasn’t in working condition. As I’m diabetic and need to store my insulin in fridge. I requested for a replacement which didn’t happened even after couple reminders. I ended up asking staff at the reception to keep my insulin in fridge they had there. "Hotel was great, clean relaxing, nice setting in tree covered property and array of great food available. Good internet across the site and good water pressure in the spatious shower rooms. Regular busses to and from town. One draw back was the noise from the beach bar at night which had no sound barrier protecting the accomodation situated behind it, including our suite. "Last minute 2 day getaway for baby shopping for my daughter (girl no.3) we stayed top floor large apartment also eith us my 10 & 6 yr old frand daughters. It was modern, clean and spacious. Although if you wanted to cook or have a drink there wasnt really anything to use but we ate out anyway. Breakfast was lovely and plenty. Staf were always around, nice and helpful. Very near to eveywhere. walking distance to the seafront where there are lots of shops, bars, restaurant's & parks. No car park...

"Nice sized hotel quite modern but still personal. Good central location but side street so it's quiet. We were there beginning of May so under occupied which meant no buffet breakfast just very small plated breakfast. I understand the reasoning but felt if breakfast is reduced so should the room prices so the negative of City Hotel is it's bit overpriced."
