The reception staff were rude. I paid for a room with a balcony but they gave me one without balcony access. When I made the claim they told me that they didn't know anything, so I should contact Expedia. When we went to breakfast, the eggs and waffles were gone. I went to reception to inform them and they told me it was a kitchen problem. When we found the kitchen manager, she told us that they would make more eggs and waffles the next day. This happened at 8:45 am.

Very nice and clean place. Staff was very nice. They let us check in early. But the walls were not sound proof. The family next to us on both sides were very loud. I’m sure it would have been a pleasant stay if it wasn’t for the families next to us.

It was off season, so it was very quiet. We started off on the 2nd floor, but guests moved in over us. We asked to be moved and the manager was very accommodating.

Surprising find!
We have a permanent site at a local campground and needed a place to stay while winterizing. On a whim we chose Marina Bay and were stunned by how nice it was! The decor is absolutely fabulous. The hotel is extremely roomy and clean. We immediately messaged all of our family and friends that typically smash in our camper and told them to check this hotel out. Highly recommend!

This was a weekend getaway for me and my husband and Marina Bay made it great and with ease!!!! I am in a wheelchair and the bathroom was completely perfect for me!!!! It had a roll in shower with safety bars and a seat inside!!!! This was our second stay and there will be more!!!!

We have stayed at this property for consecutive years now for Halloween weekend! The town of Chincoteague puts off a special old time Halloween movie vibes with small town trick of treating and the Marina Bay hotel is a perfect place to stay.

While this is my fault for not doing more research, I learned that the rooms were not on the water. I saw marina and made an assumption. I was offered a water view room for an extra $60 per night. I appreciate that housekeeping is on demand. Very ecological. However, when cleaning rooms it would be necessary to look down. By doing so the pubic hairs in the corner of the shower and the slime around the edge of the sink may have been spotted. The carpet was NASTY. It was beyond cleaning and needs to have been replaced ages ago. Check out room 223 if you care to verify. The breakfast had to be built component by component. Once you found the person in charge you could replace the items that were missing - coffee, pepper, bread etc. Eggs were cold. There was not even peanut butter for those of us looking for protein. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment. Maybe similar reviews are the reason the property was very poorly occupied.

While this should not have occurred, I hope when you notified us, we responded immediately with a resolution. I was the person who checked you in and it was only 60, for the entire stay, to book a premium room. I have spoken with the team regarding all your concerns including our complimentary breakfast, as we continue to improve our service to you. Thank you for your feedback.
